I decided to give Stitch's Great Escape another try this weekend, and was amazed to see the attraction is already broken!
Most unbelievable--- one of the two laser cannons was frozen! It didn't move throughout the entire show! Also, it appears that the corresponding visual effects automatically shut off if the cannon is inoperable, because only half of the room was "blowing up" with laser hits (usually red light, smoke and water spray from certain seats when it they are "hit" by the laser). So when one laser cannon breaks, you lose the visuals above, as well as the in-theater effects below.
Also, the timing of the lights are now out-of-sync (and I don't think it's because of this rumored "rehab" to make it less frightning. The attraction is still pretty dark). During the most critical moment of the show, when Stitch ESCAPES, the room lights are ON. So you see the Stitch animatronic get sucked down into the tube-- totally ruining the impression that he leaped from the tube and is running loose through the theater.
Also, at least on my seat, I failed to get "spit" on. And I could not feel the chili dog breath down my neck (I think I smelled it from the neighboring seat). Oh yeah, and just as the chili dog sequence begins, you could hear half the room "ewwwwww" ing long before the burp--- which means the scent was probably being released too early (my side of the room appeared to have the burp and scent timed OK)
