If AIE didn't change it's line-up of "tribute" judges to reflect Kara and Ellen, doubt they will to reflect Steven Tyler and whomever else gets picked. The bigger question is what they use as a grand prize after Idol gets cancelled next year.

Not that they would after the investment to put the show in, but it'd be nice if they used the space for something a little more timeless and not so 5 minutes from now. But that's just me.

I don't think this will affect AIE any more than to ensure that it will only have the longevity (roughly) of Who Wants to be a Millionaire--Play It!, which lasted about 5 years (only 3 years at DCA...which is probably why they didn't bother cloning AIE out west). Personally, which Sounds Dangerous circling the drain and AIE having only a few more years, at best, I can't help but notice that between Sounds Dangerous and AIE, they would have a rather large, empty building...large enough for a nice E-Ticket? It's bigger than Midway Mania...
