Steven Tyler No Longer "Loves" That Idea, He Only "Likes" It

For the record, if Disney always blocked out that hand gesture, why could they not block out ths one on our photopass of the kid in front of us? On Dinosaur shooting the bird? Magically preserved forever on our memory maker? Lol

Same here. Even after I knew about the controversy I couldn't recognize it- I always thought he was supposedly doing it when he was already in the limo.

Speaking of the lights he would have been looking into, weren't they so bright (because they were filming in IMAX) that everything behind the camera was like 140 degrees?
Yes. I heard an interview about this with the director or producer of the video. Sounded way more complex than it looks.

Edit: Jerry Rees did the video, and the interview was on either Season Pass or The Disney Nerds podcast.

I actually listen to Season Pass Podcast, so I probably heard Rees say it there.

Was wondering what George Lucas has been doing in his spare time.
Rock and Roller Coaster: special edition.
"I'm sorry you fell in love with a half finished preshow. I have always intended Steven Tyler to have his hand with all digits extended. But the technology didn't exist in 1999. Now you can experience the version I MEANT for you to see."

I thought the same thing, just kinda a like a weird Robert Plant type thing to do. Well, since they've got the ol' computer out, can they give the band members haircuts and clothing a little more current today?
Yeah, they update Joey's drums every time he gets a new endorsement from a different drum company... a little wardrobe change (maybe just a whole new video shoot) may be in order...but if I'm understanding the other discussions around here, we may lose the guys all together when the dust settles in this extreme makeover of the park...

I did it today with both hands, one on my head like Steven and one to the side and no censorship at all.

I never worked merchandise, but I worked attractions with photos. On my first CP, my merchandise Roomate told me about how there was a position at the ToT gift shop where she got to see the photos ahead of time and then "block" them before they popped up on the screens if there was something obscene in the photo. That was in 2007. In my second program in 2010, the attraction I worked did NOT have that position anymore. When I asked why, the merch CMs said a year or so back, a bunch of CMs were caught taking photos of people's pictures and posting them online, so they got rid of the position all over property. Don't know how true the story is, but the position IS gone. Now photos only get blocked if a CM happens to see it with all the other guests and has time to run back to the computer to block it.
