Statements about WDW that grind your gears

What are some fairly common statements about the parks that get thrown around that are hard for you to not step in and speak up about? Those things people say that you just can’t let slide and ignore, you have to voice your opinion on it?

At the top for me is any post suggesting Splash Mountain needs to be re-themed. I just cannot stay silent when I see it.

“There’s not enough Star Wars” is pretty high up there too.
True - got to remember though - these kids haven't had their face out of phone in like 10 years.. they have no clue of older movies and MoM and dad using us for remote controls .. one TV in the house and you watched what mom and dad wanted … Disney/ABC is bringing back Sunday Walt Disney Movie night... On this subject I wrote them and told them to bring back the older moves / series. Grizzly Adams / Daniel Boone / .. we will watch it and so will the kids... They will be like "Wow, the outdoors looks so pretty!"

Because the official title of Disneyland park is Disneyland. The name "Magic Kingdom" was never an official name for Disneyland, not even once. (Also Epcot opened in 1982, and the Lake Buena Vista Shopping village opened in 1975)
Incorrect. MAGIC KINGDOM, WALT'S MAGIC KINGDOM, WALT'S ORIGINAL MAGIC KINGDOM have been associated with and adveristed with Disneyland throughout the years.

It's true, it's not the Orlando that tourists think in their minds. If you've ever been on the Trail or if you're even braver, go on the side streets, you would know.

I have very good friends that live in the area. But I'm not sure what makes it the ghetto? So I do not know. What other part of Orlando do you consider the ghetto?

It's been called this as a term of endearment but never as an official title. You know that completely, it has always been 100% been called Disneyland and just Disneyland officially. My lord yall are just chomping at the bit to prove something when that something isn't there.

When you hear someone say "Were going to Disney World today." Then you hear the bus spiel "were on our way to The Magic Kingdom." 🙄:banghead:

My business partner who makes 3+ trips a year still calls MK 'Disney'. I think its because his first trips where when MK was the only park in FL.
