 everyone.

Hi Kat, how are you today?

well... i've never been a huge reader... still really not... but I love his Alex Cross series... like 6 months ago I picked up "Cross" (second to last one out) and I loved it... so I read some of his other newer ones...

right now I'm reading Jack and Jill... which is the third book in the series (first two books were made into movies though; Along Came a Spider and Kiss the Girls, so I'm not going to bother reading them)

either way... if you haven't read any of his Alex Cross books, you should... they are AWESOME... and I read them out of order so I wouldn't worry about that...

the last three, Mary Mary, Cross, and Double Cross were definitely his three best...

My bff loves James Paterson, and has read a lot (maybe all?) of his books, she's sending me some. I am going to start with one I already have, Sundays at Tiffany's (of course I choose the super girly one first!)

I proposed, kind of half-joking... "Magic Friends *hanging their heads in shame*"

but it actually got a heck of a response... i was shocked...

however, i've never had much luck in the "naming game" in the past (probably cuz i also throw out things like "Joe" as a name... :lookaroun)

Hi Kat!
I just had some mini oreos. :slurp:
Now I'm trying to figure out what I want for lunch.
Ooo! Oreos! You win!

Hi Kat, how are you today?
I'm good. Had a really rough start at work today.... but... *deep breath* trying to keep positive. :o

How are you Sami? Get to bed at a decent hour last night?

I proposed, kind of half-joking... "Magic Friends *hanging their heads in shame*"

1) DH is a good man

2) I do have a report to do/send out in the next 45 minutes so... don't be too jealous... :o

3) You're great, staying positive shouldn't be tough

:D

4) Thank you

What kind responses! You know, I don't know why Nibbs dislikes you so much...

:lookaroun

I don't know if this should make me happy.... :D

or if this should make me sad... :(

(notice the way I appropriately portray the emotions with the smileys there? Now that's just solid smiley-management...)

Howdy! Had a nice visit with my folks while DH went his dentist appointment. Joel was fidgety though, so he was ready to leave as soon as Mike got back.
Now the family is playing Mario Kart on the Wii. Joel is appropriately screaming and giggling everytime one of our cars goes off the road and 'dies'  Good times!

Oooo! Do you own it? I heard it's very good!
I was the Mario Kart QUEEN in college... though that was on the 64.

Have you heard of Boom Blox? My mother actually bought it for me for my birthday. Steven Spielberg created it.

It's actually borrowed from my sister, so we have to buy our own. Definitely the family favorite at the moment.
I've never heard of Boom Blox - what is it?

Do you have the steering wheel with it?

Boom Blox

One of a series of projects Electronic Arts is making with famed director Steven Spielberg. This particular project is a physics-based puzzler that is designed to be played by anybody in the family using the unique control set-up of the Wii.
Boom Blox offers action-packed interactive activities that takes Wii play to a new level of creativity and fun with single player gaming as well as co-op and versus battle either simultaneously or turn-based with one Wii controller. Players can explore the visceral gameplay -- perfectly suited for the Wii's interactivity—that keeps them destroying their way through brain-twisting challenges. They can interact with entertaining characters such as the Blox-laying chickens or the baseball throwing monkeys, who bring personality to the Tiki, Medieval, Frontier, and Haunted themed environments. Additionally, players can remix any level of the game in Create Mode using props, blocks, or characters that have been unlocked during the game. Players can also virtually build anything they can dream up. Plus, their designs can then be shared with friends or used to challenge others to solve their newly created puzzle via WiiConnect24.

Pretty much, it's a puzzle game in which you need to knock down/grab/move blocks to get points.
