Starbucks among other new vendors at Disney

It was, but I rarely went there. Given the choice of MSB then or MSB/Starbucks now I will take what we have now.

how can you make that judgement on a place you went to rarely. the other optionis the Starbucks coffee with the MSB baked goods., best of both worlds and you maintain the Main Street integrity. Now a new visitor to WDW walks in and looks for a bakery that doesn't exisit. A return visitor looks for baked goods that are gone and replaced with shipped in frozen cakes.

I rarely went there because the quality was nothing to write home about on a consistent basis. Subway bakes their own cookies. I don't make regular stops there either. When you have almost daily access to near legendary places like Cinotti's Bakery in Jax Beach and The French Pantry on Jacksonville's south side, the MSB is not exactly high up on my MK to do list.

It is also worth noting that I spend about 20 days a year in MK making infrequent visits over the course of a decade more in quantity than most peoples lifetime.

I would much rather get a funnel cake at Sleepy Hollow than get pretty much anything else at MSB. Now I can get a decent hand made Cafe' Moca to go along with it.

So I guess based on the responses so far very few people really care about what is on or who runs Main Street or any other location in Disney. I am dissapointed to hear from a lot of posters that it really doesn't matter or they are apethetic to it all. Maybe I'm just old school and haven't given in yet to a changing Disney. Welcome franciseville you can have it all. Keep your old photos we can post them a few years from now and say remember when.... Here is a guy who wants a carnival funnel cake rather than a fresh made baked good.
OH WELL

I would care if it was worth caring about. I cared about The Adventurer's Club closing. I cared about 20k closing. In the real world, MSB was a fair bakery at best. It turning into a Starbucks was, at worst, a lateral move.

If MSB was the end all be all of bakeries in your world, you really need to get out more.

Sounds like that would pair quite nicely with a Pumpkin Spice Latte. I wonder were I could get one of those?

If they were new visitors then they might not have known the MSB existed in it's previous form, so I'm not sure they'd be looking for something that doesn't exist. Crazy thought I know, but they might like that they can get Starbucks on Main Street upon arrival!

I know one of my favorite things about going to WDW is getting things I can easily get anywhere else. Oh, wait, no.
