"Starbright Holidays" Drone show coming to Disney Springs

Color me shocked that they're doing this in a non-gated area like this rather than inside a park (which requires admission).

To me, that either means:

1. Disney Springs really IS doing that poorly that they need to draw people there any way they can

or

2. This show isn't elaborate enough to use as an advertized draw into a park.

Or...

3. Mickey has taken the gloves off.

4. No Osborne Lights.

5. Try and draw more to DS.

I can almost guarantee you that a surprisingly large number of guests are unaware of the Disney Springs conversion and the scope of it. This will help put it on people's radar.

They used to use searchlights for this. Now drones can do the job. It is the 21st century after all.

Or, third, and most likely...

It seemed a cool idea, and DS is the perfect place to give it a whirl.

I have not spent much time around drones but are we certain that is drone noise and not just sound for effect?
That is the sound they make. No idea if they added it in post, used a mic that would deliberately pick it up or if the drones they are using are just that loud.

EDIT: This video will kind of give you an idea of the noise generated by a single drone.
You will want to fast forward to about 9:30.
