Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

They're not testing it to see if people enjoy it, but rather for operational purposes. The cast members aren't being asked for their opinions as such, just bums on seats really. I was one of the first to ride Rock 'n' Roller coaster when it soft opened, I can assure you I had no input into the final product. I'm sure the cm's are told if they see anything wrong to report it etc, however they are primarily just human test dummies.

Hopefully they're doing some role-playing with the CMs. Someone refusing to put away their phone, people that want to linger in one place, someone who can't figure out how a seatbelt works....

Any chance of a soft guest opening December 3rd? Or 4th? But I know that's the media day. Disney likes to do "surprise and delight" sometimes where they soft open the day before the grand opening.

Zero unfortunately, they are running down to the wire, and need all the time they can get.

🤑 LOL. So far pandora's layout is more accommodating for guests to just hang out. GE has a more luv, [buy,] and shov feel.

Using CMs as test guests is not good, Imagineers are too used to drinking their own cool aid. Just preview the thing to guests! Look at hagrid’s, soft opened with huge issues, but they got it to a reasonable state and everyone's happy.

Actually using CMs is very good. You get to figure out the real operational issues, not the issue of dealing with idiots that don't know how to put a seat belt on that most attraction CMs already know. From what I was told they learned A LOT during their CM ridership at Falcon prior to opening.

Does anyone know if they'll do pass holder previews?

WDW Zero, DL maybe a slight chance. If D'Amaro was still there probably a higher chance, because that dude knew and understood the parks. Campbell has zero parks experience, and by effect probably has no idea that Preview are a good idea. D'Amaro didn't just bunker down in TDA, he routinely was out and about in the parks. I have zero faith Campbell will be seen in the parks outside press events.

I wonder how good the beginning and end are going to be. (I'm thinking fake elevators like Gringgotts but a spaceship) The middle part with the droid ride vechle looks to be the main ride. I also wonder if people will have to ride all three rides or if they will be allowed to skip the middle or exit early. Are prisoners allowed to use the bathroom?

This ride opens in 10 days and I’m surprised we haven’t even seen any vague twitter posts or anything in regards to it. Aren’t they using Star Wars cast to test the ride? I know they would tell them now to post anything but someone usually breaks or just filters their opinion through someone who doesn’t work for the company.

The entire experience will be very good. Better than fake elevators.

I don’t believe they will be allowing guests to bypass the transport. It is physically impossible to experience the second part without the third or vice versa.
