Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

From the videos I have seen I prefer him in B mode. The whole robotic movement and fake ceiling falling (swinging) down in-front of him was a little cheezy to me.
I wished the window-screen would somehow explode during B-mode, so at least the physical wind effects are kept. As Kylo is being shot away he "accidentally" fires upon the Star Destroyer/at us and rips a hole in the ship.

I wouldn't complain as much since we get to keep some effects without the AA at least...

After seeing this weeks episode of The Book of Boba Fett, I now have little doubt that this ride could possibly get rethemed in the future to the OT.
The cgi/deepfake for Luke in this episode was unbelievable, and crushes my doubts that Rise couldn’t be rethemed to include the more iconic Star Wars characters since their actors no longer look the same or aren’t around anymore.

Ao yesterday the probe was stuck in down position, Kylo is B mode and NONE of the cannons were working. Sigh
Hey, look, at least it’s not a boring, reliable old Omnimover or Scoop. You have to make some big sacrifices for all the huge benefits a trackless system brings to the ride.

I'm pretty sure if Galaxy's Edge was being designed now...they'd go back to Original Trilogy era stuff....what's coming out for that era now is sooo good and is letting me pretty much forget about the sequel trilogy entirely

I mean could they include some of the Mando Cinematic universe characters to SWGE without messing up the timeline?
Mandolorian season 1 takes place in 9 ABY (after battle of Yavin). Force awakens takes place in 34ABY. So 25 year gap.
CharacterAge in MandolorianAge in Force Awakes (basically SWGE)
The Mandolorian (Din Djarin)4065 (could still be good to walk around in Armor)
Grogu5075 (would probably look older as Yoda was a jedi master at 100, but could 100% be there)
Greef Karga7095 (probably a no go)
Bo-Katan Kryze5075 (probably a no go)
Boba Fett4166 (Could still be good in his Armor)
Ahsoka Tano45* (spent a few years in the "world between worlds" and don't really know how she aged in there)70* (Have a slightly longer lifespan than humans, 55-74 is considered "middle age" so actually could work)
Moff Gideon6085 (probably a no go)
Fennec Shand~50~75 (probably a no go, but maybe with her face covering/helmet she sometimes wears)
Cad Bane was born in 62BBy so is actually 96 by the time SWGE takes place. Duros (his species) have a similar lifespan to humans, so he is probably out as well.
OR... they could just throw away the strict timeline in the land and allow anyone to walk around at their "ideal" age.

I was showing my youngest DS how pull the bumper off my DD's Camry. He had trouble using a wrench to pull some of the bolts. A socket wrench did much better. Likewise, the gun and droid movement would do much better with tried-and-true actuators. Seems that trackless and other technologies are misused.

The right tool for the right job!

You're talking about college interns pushing and pulling the set pieces, right?

The article said it’s being tested in certain interrogation rooms but I believe they’re installed in almost all, if not all. They’ve been there since either mid December or early January.
Those were definitely not there when I rode it on 3 separate occasions late-December. And I got 3 different interrogations rooms too each time.

Amazing ride, I just wish it didn't breakdown so much. I got a genie pass in the morning and couldn't get on until nighttime. Because it was down most of the day.

Bright side is I got to use the skyliner a lot. Truth be told about the attraction, it doesn't even matter that they are using the less popular sequel films either. The attraction is top notch.
