I'm confused
The phrase "even blank?" assumes a poor view of blank such that it is remarkable that "even blank" doesn't do that horrible thing in question.

It's so easy, a woman can do it!!

Begun (in earnest), the theme park war has.

I'm excited.

I think it began long ago with Universal’s intro of Harry Potter. Disney never did anything to reclaim the throne (FoP is great, but not at that level) and now finally they have.

Hopefully things get even better from here. This has proven that when Disney actually chooses to invest, they can blow anyone out of the water.

Anybody in line or know group status?
Anyone can look up which boarding groups are being admitted on MDE. Currently groups 59-70. Which means if they got through 5800 people between 8 am and 3 pm (ride was down mostly before 8 right?) they are averaging ~825pph which isn't bad considering it has gone down a few times since then.

Anyone know how DAS is working with the boarding zones, etc?

Once you are checked in (when your boarding group is called) THEN you can get a DAS (not before). But you don’t get a return time, you get onto the FP line immediately. Saves time having to wait whatever the standby queue is BUT prevents double rides (going to standby while also holding a DAS return time).

Also, it wasn’t posted anywhere but CM told me only 1 DAS per day for this ride. Because they can tell when you go back that you already checked in from your initial boarding group.

Hope that makes sense 🤩

Even if they get it up to 1500 and can keep downtime to 1 hour per day, on an average day that means that less than half of the people who visit Hollywood Studios will have a chance to ride RoTR.

(I'm assuming park hours from 9am-8pm, which is the current schedule for the week we'll be there in February, and using the most recent attendance stats I could find, from 2018, when nearly 31K people visited HS per day, on average. With Galaxy's Edge completed, the number is probably even higher now.)

There are very few attractions in all of WDW that can handle the entire daily attendance at their respective parks.

Not everyone who visits the park will want to ride, or be able to ride because of height restrictions or other factors.

Pandora with FOP was stunning and game changing, but leveraged with an IP that wasn't as popular as HP. SWGE is great and extremely well themed but suffered from launch problems and a weak secondary attraction to ROTR. It also doesn't help that Disney's biggest obstacle is the propensity to cut back the scope of the land at the end of development. For example Pandora had planned another E-Ticket, SWGE had planned a C-Ticket that never came to fruition.

Are you taking the last group or the first group? At 3:30pm I have Groups 61-76. If the ride is getting ~1000pph and each boarding group has 100 people, looks like a new group should get admitted every 6 minutes. If they stop boarding groups at 10 and the ride doesn't break down we should get 65 more groups in or to boarding group 141.

Exactly. It’s running beautifully right now. It was described me thusly: MFSR is a Labrador retriever. RotR is a Persian. Everyone likes the lab, it’s always reliable for a walk, but there’s nothing jaw dropping about it. Just a dog. The Persian is stunningly beautiful. You want to spend as much time with it as possible. But if you stroke it the wrong way, it runs off. Amazing while it’s on your lap though.

Question about checking into a boarding group. Family of 4, do we all have to be present to check in at the park or can one person from the group check everyone in? Thanks
