Animatronic Kylo Ren! - Back in the SWGE special on 9/29 - missed it somehow.
Thanks to Jack (@DSNYnewscast)

ALSO - Who ran those data cables in the background? WOW as an IT guy that drives me crazy.

It also appeared at the same time as this clip, so most likely it's the AA, not just a costume. As why would they randomly include just the costume anyways, they have footage of Kylo Ren walking around Galaxy's Edge in costume, so a backstage photo of the costume wouldn't be very enlightening... we have also seen the AA in the promo from December 2018 (Behind The Scenes Xmas Sneak Peak).

That seems like it's a lab or other work space. Probably gets a lot of frequent reconfiguring.

I thought I'd read Galaxy's Edge is set between Force Awakens and Last Jedi. I might be mistaken though.

There’s a tie-in book for the land that has it set after Last Jedi now!

The basic backstory is that after Leia’s allies fail to appear on Crait, she sends Vi Moradi to Batuu to make new allies and build a base. The book ends with her watching a First Order Star Destroyer hyperspace jumping into the atmosphere, which I assume is the one that we’ll be captured by on Rise of the Resistance.

I hope the AT-AT heads turn. But if the steel beams we saw are still connected and it's just a shell that turns, it doesn't look like it'll have the range of motion shown in the image from the promo video.

The trailer for RoS shows it being welded back together, and unless I'm seeing things, it looks like welds at the top of the helmet before it goes under the hood. Plus, @SWGalaxysEdge has shown time and again he/she has legit info. No reason to doubt him/her here.

..this might be an incomplete version, I am guessing. Hopefully the final versions will have the red welds.

To be honest Mr Haunt, I may be too? It does look like they've removed some of the steel beams to me, of course that doesn't guarantee we get movement, but it would be cool if it does. I'm hoping that @SWGalaxysEdge is right (or his friend is), time will tell on that and there's not too long to wait.
We will wait and see once some good hd ride povs come in on opening day or from the press preview. As much as I hate the sequel trilogy and feel it was a mistake to base the land around it, and even though i have been hard on the ride, i am really looking forward to it. I want to be amazed, to be wowed to be thrilled to experience something i have never before on a ride. i have been waiting for WDI to up their game to the next level and make the next INDY or a ride to rival it and Incredicoaster aint it. hopefully this is the next level i have been waiting for.

That's sorta what I thought. I mean, are we to believe AT-ATs are just walking around a space ship. IN a room barely big enough for them? WIth Troopers sitting in the heads, just in case.
Honestly, if the heads turn to face me and blast as I move across the room, I’ll be too excited to care about all that.

It’s kind of like asking why Sallah would trust tourists to avoid looking into Mara’s eyes on Indy Jones Adventure. (Plus, if those naughty tourists didn’t look, we wouldn’t have an adventure.)

Agreed, but his initial reports of the reason for ROR delay were somewhat exaggerated, and there were quite a few inconsistencies early on over on the DL side of the forum. People are slow to forget those things and that causes hesitation. I for one enjoy the general discussion. Carry on!

..yeah back then I had a source I trusted who was feeding me 1/2 truths. Some facts mixed in with 'wishes" - they are long gone now

..yeah you;d think so - but they only want to release info THEY want out there. Plus didn't Uncle Bob say no advertising on their part? Sounds like they need us.
Nothing that has been released reflects poorly on the ride (IMHO), so if I were then, I’d let it slide. They need folks to be excited!

Bet Bob feels a bit foolish now. His hubris toward Star Wars seems to have been unfounded. Marvel, on the other hand...
