Agreed. After the first experience, it loses its luster fast, especially since 20 things are broken.I find RotR boring. I don't get why people like it.
Tower has a fair amount of issues too. I’d wager on average they’re about equal.Agreed. After the first experience, it loses its luster fast, especially since 20 things are broken.
All true, but a somewhat broken tower is still better than a 100% working RotR, for me.Tower has a fair amount of issues too. I’d wager on average they’re about equal.
A lot depends on which one you are more a fan of... the TZ series or SW movies. And some guests just can not take the ToT drop.I'm surprised this poll is currently tied at 50/50.
On second thought, this isn't my week for predicting poll results.
Not to be mean but I like to compare rides similar quality rides and this is a discussion forum where we DISCUSS about the rides and the parks, if they bother you so much, simply ignore them or don't bother even commenting or getting involved then. SorryNot to be mean but do we really need all these ride comparison threads clogging up the place? A lot of them aren’t even comparable experiences.
Except you don't compare or discuss, you start the thread, which is just pictures with no context or opinion given, and then disappear for a while then make a new one and then do the sameNot to be mean but I like to compare rides similar quality rides and this is a discussion forum where we DISCUSS about the rides and the parks, if they bother you so much, simply ignore them or don't bother even commenting or getting involved then. I've already done most of those comparisons including MAMRR vs Ratatouille, and TOT vs D.D. which was not even worth discussing. Tower of Terror is on a whole other level compared to Doctor Doom. At least with this comparison, it's close and interesting. The comparisons seem way off, surely you'd compare ROTR, with MAMRR, or Ratatouille in Epcot, trackless experience's, TOT you would say has no equal, there's nothing like it, unless you compare TOT with D.D at universal , I voted ROTR as i do like it, i mean the tech thats goes into that is pretty amazing, i think in the next 10 years they may change the timeline in it, i think it would be more fun with the old star wars characters, but thats just me being a child of 77, for now my wife and i enjoy it very much, repeatability of any ride can be questioned , but the first time we rode both ROTR and FOP they blew us away! very lucky to have this in our time.
They are the two best rides and highest rated rides in Hollywood Studios and both are two of the most masterful pieces of imagineering ever made in history. Both have incredible theming, amazing immersion, brilliantly themed queues, impressive how did they do that moments, and thrill. (Tower has FAR more thrill, but ROTR does have it's TOT style drop segment), also both are attractions that use a trackless ride system. TOT uses it when the elevator goes in the fifth dimension, and ROTR uses a trackless ride system among other ride systems. That's why I compared them. There ya go.Except you don't compare or discuss, you start the thread, which is just pictures with no context or opinion given, and then disappear for a while then make a new one and then do the same
'Ignore' cleans the General Discussion forum up nicely, I've found. These utterly vapid comparison threads are just nonsensical trash and I've never figured out what the point of any of them have been. Not to be mean but do we really need all these ride comparison threads clogging up the place? Womp womp. There’s more where that came from. If you don’t like the polls, stop wasting your time even commenting and spreading your unneeded negativity, thanks.'Ignore' cleans the General Discussion forum up nicely, I've found.
