If they know the problem and have a solution I'm betting on fix.
I really think if it is possible to have workers on site the entire resort will be crawling with maintainers, construction crews, painters and cleaning crews. Just a guess though. It really is an opportunity to get a lot done.

How are the crowds and the “mood” of guests / CM’s?
The crowds are as large as they have been all week. I haven’t noticed any different feelings with the crowd. The CMs I talked to were uncertain to their future. A CM working at the hotel restaurant was worrying about who was going to come if the parks were closed. I really feel bad for them.

Just a FYI, the family and I were in DL yesterday and were able to score a BG for Rise. Sad to say the app is flawed there too. Both of us on our phones, no wifi, browsing service, full bars, <1 old phones, still got BG 97. Using the tips we've read everywhere still didn't get us a good BG. Anyway...
This was my 4th time riding, first time at DL. Besides VERY minor queue differences, the ride is exactly the same. I would venture to say tho the scene where kylo is pulling you toward him and the bridge blows up, that the vacuum effect at DHS is stronger.

Successful (and probably final) test on both iPhone and Android today.
I loaded the app on both phones at ~7:56:30, which would normally cause it to automatically call getPositions at ~7:59:30, thus making it unavailable when the queue opens. To stop this from happening, at 7:58 I tapped the Find Out More and My Status buttons (preemptively triggering getPositions) and then the home icon. A few seconds before 8, I intentionally tapped Find Out More early so that the getQueues call would fail and not give me a red Join button. I then waited five seconds or so, tapped My Status, and got the blue Join button on the status page.
I still think most people should just stick to loading the app at one of the common safe times (7:55 or 7:58), but my curiosity required me to confirm that this method would indeed work.

I believe its a good opportunity, the first real one since it opened in December, for them to see what shape the various components are in... unexplained wear,tear, etc.

Well, what do you expect.
We, DHS, had the original and first ROTR, which automatically means we have the best version of the ride (according to DL standards). Hurrah!
Roughly 20 minutes or so with no slow downs/stops.
