Based on typical load app time that works but you may be cutting it close one day if it only takes 3-4 seconds to load. Then you’d be SOL.
theoretically by being in earlier you could get on even faster

Based on typical load app time that works but you may be cutting it close one day if it only takes 3-4 seconds to load. Then you’d be SOL.
theoretically by being in earlier you could get on even faster
For reference: My app load is 4 to 5 seconds (thankfully after they patched that last release)
If they keep the same pace, it may be close, depending on how long they will call groups tonight. They have started calling groups a bit faster now.

And if not at 82, it looks like they will make it when it hits 87!

It’s no ROTR, but I’m currently in MMRR line and got into the theater in 20 mins. I’m loving DHS these days. Not a bad Tuesday night

How long before opening do you have to be there to get through security and enter the park before 8AM. I'm sorry if this has been asked and answered before.

I typically arrive at the parking booths at 7:20 and that’s plenty of time. Most of the time I’m in the park before 7:45.
Trying to scroll to find out why.... if I open at 7:55, etc... do I just sit at the home screen until 8:00? Thanks!!

YES, yes and YES. The app automatically checks boarding group status at initial load and blocks any additional request for 60 seconds. So you don't want to open it less then 60 seconds prior to 8am.
There is also another automatic check it does at 3 minutes as well. Hence why if you want that one available as a backup as well, you want to load app from scratch OR 7:55-7:55:59 or 7:57:30-7:58:00

Got pretty much all the FastPasses I was hoping for (only 1 MMRR rather than 2, but I got a Slinky to compensate so no worries really). It’s so nice seeing them all on the ‘My Plans’ section. Really makes my trip feel real.
Now all I need is some luck with boarding groups. 60 days until my first attempt of at least three (as many as six potentially if I do it before Epcot days) on my 14 night trip. I’ll rope drop Slinky or MF:SR until I’ve ridden Rise a couple of times as I’ve heard it’s harder to get them when you go for MMRR due to the building having poor signal.
I have an iPhone X, my fiancée has an iPhone 11 which is a few seconds faster opening the app. I’ll be doing Demarke opening at 7:55, she’ll be Fresh and Geeky as the safer backup.

Ok, I just practiced. Sat on main screen at 7:57:40. JBG was lit up right at 8

Oh also was standing on sunset boulevard near the bathrooms. Had amazing service there and not too many people.
