Demarke

Have I told you lately that I 👍 you?
I know everyone has their favorite. Team Freshstart or Team @Demarke. I am curious. We could even take this a step further. When everyone has a chance, what was the lowest BG? When you got that BG, where were you in the park when you got it? Assuming cell- what carrier? How many people did you have in your group trying to get a BG trying at the same time? And what method did you use (Demarke/freshstart/nothing) I think if we put all of that data together it would be very helpful. View attachment 449117
Sorry, just seeing this now (long couple of weeks!), when I’ve gotten there pre-opening, I’ve had 2nd group overall, 3rd, 90th (App straight up glitched on me), 1st, 1st, 1st; Verizon; just me; demarke method.

Also, one bit of advice for those turning off/on their phones to clear memory before opening, I noticed awhile back that my iPhone 7 will not clear out previously opened programs if I turn it off and back on too quickly (still appearing in the background after restart, which could slow down the phone having them still running in the background). My past successes have been after closing out all my programs and turning off the phone early enough to to give it at least 5-10 minutes off so the phone actually is starting fresh when I turn it back on a few minutes before opening.

This first chart is biased. Of course standby is going to be higher. But overall wait time I bet was WAY lower. If you took the average wait time of the people that got on via fastpass and weighted averaged it with standby I bet the overall wait time was lower than average.
I know to factor in the wait time of FP, that's not the point of the chart. Some were saying that MFSR was a failure because of low wait times compared to the other attraction's wait times with FP.

Now with FP active, it has comparable wait times to the other headliners.

On my next trip I am not going with everyone on my friends list. Will it cost me more than a few groups to individually select people in my party rather than press select all?

In my tests today (flying south tomorrow) I actually did hit a glitch on my 2nd try. I blame @VaderTron for this. 1st try, right in to screen where it yells at me for not being in park, force quit app, 2nd try, glitch, force quit app, 3rd try right in, force quit, 4th try backup group which was right around 8:01. I am guessing I need group 35 or better on Saturday since I have a meal at Tusker House at 3pm. That's my safe number, though on good days they are over 50 by noon.

I have always had to select 2-4 people, with no issues (knock on wood). But yeah, less clicks does equate to faster processing time.

If you know what you are doing I wouldn’t stress too much over this point 😎

If you are not planning to go with the others again, you can use the chat feature on the MDE website and the CM can remove anyone from your party that doesn't need to be there.

If you ARE needing them to stay in your account, a good strategy I've seen is to make the avatar pictures for the people you will need to select bright, and the pictures for the people you want to skip dull. That way it takes out a little bit of the thought process. Select bright pictures instead of selecting names.

I just removed everyone that will not be on our trip. You can add them back later
When the app is open go to the bottom far right and hit the three lines button. Scroll down to My Profile. Under the heading “My Account”. Click on friends and family. Click on the person you want to remove from your list and and you will see a blue circle with Remove from my list. When you want to add them back on the family and friends list look for Add a guest and pick who you want link back up with.

This didn't work for me because the people I was trying to removed "still had plans" which they didn't. But it's a super easy fix if you just queue up for the chat feature on the website. You could call in too, but chat is much quicker.
