Now is the period we ramp things up. It will be interesting to see how the crowds are now given Disney's AP changes in recent times.

Just over 2 hours stuck at group 165. It seems there are groups above 165, though.

• Monday: 192
• Tuesday: 153
• Wednesday: 165

At a GET umbrella. Line of about 150. GET out front had many more. Requiring all Magic Bands to get things fixed. Lots of VERY angry people.

Group 70 after speaking with Guest Services (and 40 minutes of refreshing the app was for nothing). Pretty disappointed but it seems like today was an unprecedented disaster in terms of boarding pass distribution.

Backup boarding groups were already in place by 6:30.

Arrived at 6:15 (took bus awhile to arrive at POFQ) and got BG 72. Pleased as punch.

One of the wdw news sites I follow says the problem is that they weren't requiring finger scans and that's why the app didn't recognize that people were in the park. Could that be right?

This is exactly why they try to stagger entry/early open.

Stop your nonsense. Easily got a BG and riding ToT for the second time. Your foolishness is not what anyone is looking for.

Makes sense to me. Don’t know if they changed the procedure after the initial rush, but It’s likely the fastest to obtain boarding passes were those who immediately headed to guest services instead of having faith in the system.

Note to self: next time, complain first.
