I asked this in another (less populated) thread but I’ll ask it here too:
Should I expect the 8am opening on January 10 (the day I’ll be at DHS) to stick? Think they’ll be trying to dial back the early openings at all by then?

No one knows. Not even Disney.

I don't see how you could prevent people from walking.

That comment made me laugh. It would just move the line back to the much more dangerous street. Nothing like 500 people waiting in the dark at 4 am. And Disney saying putting out a press release to say they wouldn’t allow lining up before xyz time wouldn’t do much. They don’t exactly have the security to enforce it and Orlando PD has better things to do. (Though they did have a few cars outside the entrance)

It's a big mass but then the closer you get (just past the ticket booths) the CMs start to make people kind of form lines. Not the best strategy but not terrible. However people started shifting to the sides and getting way ahead of the people who stood more center.

Yeah, from the touchpoints up until the ticket booths it’s basically individual lines. Past the ticket booths is basically a free-for-all and then you have to funnel yourselves into a line as you move forward. If you are past the ticket booths, definitely stay as far to the right as you can. As soon as you get past the ticket booths there are magically lots of lines to the right and you’ll move much quicker that way.

Don’t let people driving vehicles in the parking lot until a certain time, same with people walking from the resorts, Skyliner etc.

We were talking about the line inside the park... since you want to open it for a limited emh window. And the point is doing so, will mean people will wueue up before you open that line... which is yet another operational issue

This was exactly my first thought! I legit chuckled upon reading it. I've stayed on property on many occasions but given how they've handled this entire situation I no longer see a reason to continue. Suddenly feels more like a hustle or con to be honest. I visited in November to avoid this show but still understand the frustrations of resort guests. In particular the announcement of Skyliner hours for this time was nothing short of insulting for those guests. Basically they will pick you up once the BG's are all gone? Someone actually gets compensated for decisions like this? Also, I've never done UBER, LYFT, or Minnie van in my life just due to personal preference. I enjoy driving and don't like relying on others so have never been on a bus either. However someone on this thread earlier posted a pic of an app on their phone that showed Minnie Van being vastly more expensive than the others and they start fairly late as well. So basically Disney wants it's guests to pay extra on every front including parking only for them to completely fail in every single one of their transportation options!

Galaxies Edge takes place 25 years after the Mandalorian. Based on his age and the rough timeframe of the Clone Wars he's probably in his mid-late 30's in the show. He'll therefore be about 60 in Galaxie's Edge... which is hardly a problem for a completely costumed character. Of course assuming he is completely humanoid-equivalent.

Baby Yoda at the age of 50 has the language milestones of a 12-14 month old human child, but his comprehension seems a bit out of keeping. His mobility puts him more around 18-24 months.

He'd therefore be represented as a 2-3 year old (25 years later). Hardly a shocking change for that character to be included either.

All hail toddler yoda.

Usually about 5:20 through security but @KevinPage can confirm lol. Park Open yesterday was 6:18

5:18. In a similar position as yesterday though parking gates were much less crowded today at the same time.

Yeah security has been 5:15am (within a few minutes before/after).

Friday park opening was 6:35am
Saturday pro opening 6:15am
Sunday - we shall see, it’s 6:14am and not open yet
