Got reservations for 3 at all three (which I may or may not cancel or reduce the # of participants later on) for our late-January trip. Time slots for Savi's and the Droid Depot were disappearing rapidly even that far out. We will probably end up actually making at least 2 lightsabers and 2 droids, but it is frustrating that they don't allow two parents to go in as guests with one kid as the builder.

I'm not so sure you can just cancel the droid and lightsaber experiences. You might want to call up today and tell them you messed up and meant to reserve once. Then you can shift it to a different time if need be.

My understanding was that once you reserve you are locked in, and that you could move it if available but not cancel.

"You must cancel at least one day prior to your reservation to avoid a per builder cancellation fee. If you fail to timely cancel or are a no show, the credit card provided at the time of booking the reservation will be charged $199.99 per builder."

It does look like the Cantina reservation can be modified but the other two can only be cancelled. Not what I'm used to seeing with Disney reservations, so I appreciate the heads-up. I was going to check with the wife tonight and see what she wanted to do anyway, so I will call Guest Services afterward if I need to change it.

That's cool that they did it the same as a regular ADR. I think they are going to be hurting from a 1 day cancellation rather than 5 or so like they do for special events, but I'm glad they allow for cancellation. Everything I'd seen up to this point indicated no cancelling once signed up. But they hadn't launched the DHS reservations yet

Yeah I thought you couldn't cancel without penalty at all but I was wrong. At least you can identify one of the 3 after making FPs and drop the ones you don't want.

yikes! I hope that isn't the case, I understood it as you have until one day prior to cancel your reservation? Can someone clarify this? I also noticed it said to check in 60 minutes prior to your reserved spot.

If anybody just so happens to have a cantina reservation for 2 for opening day that they're planning to drop, feel free to PM me in advance (*he says desperately :angelic:*)

You have til the day before to cancel, it's in the terms and conditions on the webpage

For the virtual queue, you had to be in the park. If the Land was full, you entered the virtual queue.

You’re thinking of advance registrations, which they aren’t doing at DHS.
I think there'd be a riot if they did advanced reservations for the land this close to open. People who missed out would be kinda screwed with their airfare and other non-refundable expenses if they were coming specifically for GE

I was able to snag a reservation online, for some reason I had three tabs open on my computer and one open on my phone. The reservations for the phone went through way faster while the it never got past the "wait here" page for the computer. So use your phones! Also the website is crapping itself so good luck everyone!

Last I checked the mde app on the phone it said that it must be done temporarily via the website. They seem to have shut down that loophole. That was roughly 3pm EST

It said that when I checked too but I kept reopening it and eventually got our Oga's reservation through the app. Which is great because I got through once on the website and it crashed while I was confirming.

I wasn't using the app! The mobile site of MDE! I timed it and again it went through quicker than waiting on my pc, again no clue why both using the same wifi router!

The site is pretty much overwhelmed. Been waiting for Savi and DD for an hour to get me to a menu. Oga's was able to be scheduled through the Oga site or dining site, but more and more it's just saying can't search for anything at this time.
