Not sure if anyone also follows the conversation on the Disneyland side, but we recently had a good conversation about where we will actually enter/exit the Falcon Ride.
Here's my take from today's Bioreconsturct set:View attachment 329765
1) This I believe to be the Fastpass/Standby Entrance point that will actually follow a curve to the right behind the Falcon before entering the main indoor queue.
2) Exit for the pair of carousels right?
3) Exit for the pair of carousels left?

I believe drod1985 was first to point out those circles here and thought those could be the Fastpass/Standby entrances.

I found these model pics on Slashfilm that show there are actually three of these circle vents, two open, and one closed.

If indeed the exit, then we are leaving rather inconspicuously. Like a proper smuggler.
Anyone know more?
They don't look wheelchair accessible.

They don't look wheelchair accessible.
If you look a the hole I marked #2 I think you can see the circle is cut off a bit at the bottom. If either entrance or exit, I doubt they would have a true circle for people to even step over as it would be a tripping hazard.
But you got me thinking, to be truly immersive and in-theme, all wheelchair-bound guests should be swapped out with a Cleigg Lars style hoverchair:

One thing I was hoping for ever since seeing that our vehicle has a droid pilot was a callback to the Great Movie Ride where we are hijacked and our driver gets replaced. Here the opposite would happen where the evil droid would be replaced by a good one (BB-8, R2-D2, R5-D4, R2-KT etc)

Looking at the vehicle, you can see that the droid is meant to enter by a front flap that when open would serve as a ramp. While I'd love to see a droid kicked off and replaced, I can't imagine they'll do this. Since we're actually seated behind the droid all that's really needed is a head swap, but I'm not sure there's room on that thing to pull off such an illusion either.
We have seen that droids can be reprogrammed to change alliances ala K-2SO in Rogue One. I think it's been established that a rebel will make it on board to assist in our rescue, possibly they hack our droid to assist us.

Another thing I found last night hunting for images was this still from Slashfilm:

It's one of the older concept art pieces and may no longer be relevant.
We know the First Order has just recently arrived on Batuu, so perhaps this is just showing how menacing they are as they storm the outpost. This could be a scene from the Rise of the Resistance Preshow, leading up to why we board that shuttle in an effort to escape.
But there's such a wide clearance running along the cantina depicted in this art that it could serve as a ride path. Once landed back on Batuu, could there perhaps be some kind of chase scene at the outpost that ends with us in the salvage yard exit structure?

No. After landing it’s a very short ride to one of four unload bays. From there it’s a short, direct walk out of the building. You’ll re enter the land near the ride entrance as opposed to the cantina end.

Nice work, @sedati - Like you said, I definitely agree that those circular openings have something to do with the Falcon ride's queuing.

Nice little GE easter egg in this week's episode of Star Wars: Resistance. The main character, Kaz, offered to get "a couple of blurrgfires" - which is the name of the meal on one of the GE map cards given out at Galactic Nights events.

@marni1971 In the preview video of Alcatraz there's that small black droid roaming around on the floor. Will it be part of the ride experience/story?

I've always heard them referred to as "Mouse Droids." I also thought they were more for sending messages than repair. They would certainly add some fun kinetics to the attraction (they can even form trains.)
I checked and they haven't actually appeared in the sequel trilogy, though the First Order does have these:

I think droids like these could add some "life" to the attraction.

That was my previous assumption seeing as the "pit" was located adjacent to the exit structure.

The scene if used in the preshow could serve as a call back to the "IMPERIAL TROOPS HAVE ENTERED THE BASE! IMPERIAL TROOPS HAVE EN*CSHHK*"

Well, considering they're only found on Death Stars and Star Destroyers, I would assume we will see them in the attraction then. Thank you for the info!
