I knew I was not the only one! Then again, I enjoy the prequels a lot, so what do I know?! hahahaha.
I would think that the very thing that makes a movie good or bad is the opinion of individuals. One persons opinion means nothing in either direction, so you have gone on record as a check mark against. I'll wait until the rest of the votes are counted over time. I do believe that they have to find a replacement for Solo since they killed off the character a couple years ago. All they can really use it for are flashbacks and it appears to me that they are desperately trying to make the franchise one that jumps back and forth between a long, long time ago, to one that is even further in the past. No real chronological order to them. But you’re ok with other bad movies doing it?
Got it.
I wish we could have gotten the Bantha attraction...
In earlier plans, there was an upper-level path (think of the Peoplemover over Tomorrowland) traversed by Banthas you could ride. A gentle C-ticket kind of ride that would have really added some atmosphere to the land. From what people have said, Team Disney Orlando balked at the cost, and since development costs would have been shared, this effectively killed it for Disneyland as well. Was there originally a third attraction for this land that featured Banthas?
As much as I wish this had made the cut, I can’t for the life of me picture how this would’ve worked. How fast does a Bantha move? It almost seems impossibly slow.In earlier plans, there was an upper-level path (think of the Peoplemover over Tomorrowland) traversed by Banthas you could ride. It's not part of the thread actually. As the title of what's to be discussed is very clearly at the top. You've spammed enough threads with your take on star wars you can save us the time in this one yeah? Bright guy.Just part of the thread, bright guy...carry on.

Which is ridiculous considering DHS needs the extra ride capacity more than Disneyland. From what people have said, Team Disney Orlando balked at the cost, and since development costs would have been shared, this effectively killed it for Disneyland as well.
I’m soooo tired... of his nonsense...an easy layup to quote The Beatles: "And curse Sir Walter Raleigh, he was such a stupid git."
Back on topic...
Anybody know what's going on with Surabat River Valley? The trading card map shows a speeder going into a canyon of spires with the caption "Navigate with caution, Treacherous turns!" Everything else on the map fits in to attractions or areas that have been known about for a while, but I'm not sure where this one fits in.
Samuel L. Jackson returning as Mace Windu: Confirmed!I'm assuming that image is in reference to the Millennium Falcon ride. We'll probably have to navigate Surabat either taking off or landing in the MF ship.
Yes, I phrased that purposely that way.
Interesting that they went with the FO ATAT instead of the FO AT M6 "Gorilla Walker" for Alcatraz. The M6 is a much more memorable amd threatening design where as the FO ATAT has only minimal differences from the Imperial model. I guess the size and scale just wouldn't have worked in the ride.
