I’ll bring this back to Star Wars (kind of) ...

I just watched the new Hagrid coaster POV ride through on the USH thread and WOW. Universal is out Disneying Disney at the moment. I was prepared to say about 2/3 through the video that the show scenes were “just ok” but the last show scene takes the attraction over the top. I absolutely love the outdoor sections with all the trees. The ride has a great sense of scale to it. It feels BIG and sprawling.

Sigh- makes me think what they could have done with an Ewok coaster. Well I hope you all enjoy Star Tours .5, I mean the Falcon, instead.

Disney: Builds a ride entirely dependent on screens

Universal: Hold my butterbeer

Looks like a 7/10 for me.
More detailed than the Incredicoaster, that's for sure. But let's be real, that's not hard to accomplish.

For me it’s an 8.5/10. I can’t think of anything better and more repeatable than a thrilling (enough) coaster with a great outdoor section and decent to great show sets. If the outdoor sections weren’t so great and well themed I’d probably give it a 7 too.

I don’t think Incredicoaster and Hangrid even belong in the same sentence.

I'm willing to be my opinion would increase if I were to ride it myself... but that's probably very unlikely any time in the foreseeable future.

Hagrids I think is the tipping point for me making time for USO when I finally book my first trip to WDW. After they built Potter at USH I kind of lost the urge and Gringotts didn’t sound that great.

And now I have to take it there. With the addition of Hagrids, Wizarding World at USO > Galaxies Edge*

*unless ROTR absolutely blows our minds.

I think the boat ride is really neat, the muzak is superior (Although no competition from GE), the line for the flying ride is an excellent James Cameron sci-fi environment reminiscent of the Alien series.
Nay, Pandora still sucks with it's boat ride with one AA, 3rd person bicycle "flying" in front of a screen and property no one cares about. We don't need Avatar 2-68!

Lol. Are you trying to say that the asterisk gives me an out and I can’t lose?

What I mean to say is that when comparing the lands/ attractions, ROTR can’t just be great for Galaxies Edge to get the edge (pun intended), it’s need to be mind blowing otherwise I think Wizarding World gets the Win.
The asterisk does give you an out, but only if it comes true. Otherwise, boldly stating that USO's HP world is better than GE is very bold indeed.
