Yes I don't understand this argument. This is not the first ride where you have to manually control it. People ride Autopia to steer and drive a car (even after they drove the real thing to get to the park). You control rockets and Dumbo to go up and down. You spin on Rodger Rabbit and so on. Thats part of the fun. If you don't want to do anything on SR they already said you don't have to but plenty of people will be lining up BECAUSE thats the selling point, that you piloting the MF. If you don't want to do that, then simply don't.

At this point it just sounding like someone is nit picking every inch of this land.

Actually that is not true, I have purposely not steered on Autopia, and I have seen others do it. Many folks don't both to move Dumbo or the Rockets, leaving them in the lowest position. Just watch a few cycles of the rides. People don't spin on Roger Rabbit or the Tea Cups.

Many folks want to ride the attraction, and not have to "work", especially in a group setting, where others might give you a hard time for doing poorly.

And YOU say the selling point is piloting the ship.

Uh, OK.

Oh, LOL...I'm kinda a whimp on certain rides. I don't do Space Mountain. I like most of the virtual rides, except the roller coaster ones. But there are so many rides I love, I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything. And thank you.

I used to be that way, too, until I saw videos of SpaceM with the lights on and realized how tame it was.

But then I rode it and realized it wasn't tame at all. Not from the drops, of which there are no big ones, but from the lateral banging back and forth.

But, this is Orlando's SpaceMt. of which I speak.

Between DINOSAUR, SpaceMt, and BTMR, the lateral shaking is an abomination. I have to work out my core just to ride those.

I've never done Dinosaur. I did BTMR once, and like you, the shaking made me say "not for me." I did space mt. in WDW and I just don't like dark rides when I can't see where I'm going. And going backwards on Everest....one and done. I'm hoping I'm okay with the MF .I love FOP and Star Tours is fine as well, so fingers crossed.
