Dave from Fresh Baked Disney was out filming construction this afternoon.

I like Fresh baked, but all their Star Wars news is posted a week after it was filmed. So it is a week behind all other sites.

My bad, this is the first live update I have seen. Although I kind of stopped watching because he has been getting on his soap box lately. Plus he is pro GotG Tower.

Interesting video. I assume that's the beginning of Star Wars Land. At least you get to see progress compared to DHS.

Saw the Fresh Baked update today. Looks like they are sinking piles so they can excavate quite deep for the Battle Escape show building. I'm guessing a good portion of the show building will be under ground based on the length they are sinking them.

That sound logical. They must be for support walls. They could fill concrete between them and dig out one side.

I don't know. I found it rather creepy listening to a grown man gush over a support wall. There is some serious Peter Pan syndrome going on there.

Old news. Various networks have been in "talks" with Lucasfilm for the last twenty years. What they need to do is give it to Netflix and let them handle it. They did a great job with Dare Devil and Jessica Jones.

I remember serious talks going down about a decade ago for a show on NBC. It was almost greenlit if I can remember correctly.

Over in the WDW forums, they have lengthy discussions about the design of refillable soda mugs. Very lengthy. The support wall coverage is Star Wars Ep. 8 compared to that. Then again, I can watch HGTV for hours; I like watchin' stuff git bilt! (But, yeah, that video went on a tad long...)

I watched both US Space Mountains being built. Just ask people who know me--that is, if they don't run away in terror. LOL

I'm glad you know what you are talking about! That was the original rumor from Mice Age, I think you are correct. They said the massive show buildings would be about half underground for the sake of Disneyland sight lines.

I know they've been throwing around the tv show idea for a while now, but this was a new pitch as of yesterday, and to Disney owned ABC. Whether it comes to fruition or not will be seen.
