Seems we've achieved full Falcon:
Seems we've achieved full Falcon:
Do we know where the main entrance to Smugglers Run will be located? It's hard to identify when looking at this pic or even the model.

The assumption seems to be the large door seen in this pic:

I actually think we may enter from behind the Falcon. In some of the art there is what appears to be an open hangar or garage behind the Falcon (red rectangle.) I've noticed the large door is always shown as closed, where the area behind the Falcon seems open:

An older piece, but see how inviting/active that area looks- also note, door does not appear at all to right of ship:
In this art you can see exactly where I think we will enter:

Also...
I'm not sure if this will be part of the queue, or a swanky secret club, but I am certain we will be looking out at some point from those large curved windows just above the Falcon:View attachment 328315
Showing how they built it we probably won't enter the back of the Falcon display itself as there is no connector to speak of to the "pods".
I kind of assumed the hanger would be part of the queue that you walk by that shows Hondo putting in his smuggled goods into the Falcon (or maybe part of the exit showing him take them off the Falcon).
The space seems more of an alcove so I'm leaning more to more of a garage type space, but it curves along behind the Falcon leading to the same side where most of the queue space will be. You can sort of see it here in this old Bioreconstruct pic (Orlando):View attachment 328332
I'm pretty sure we will have to go up a level to eventually board as the turntables are not significantly submerged, making me even more sure we will pass by the windows mentioned in my last post.
As for what will really be? Don't really know, but enjoy trying to figure it out.

If true, this also puts it very closer to what is believed to be the exit.
All signs seem to point to the Falcon that we see outside being basically a big beautiful photo op.Please forgive me if this has been asked but does the actual Falcon they built factor into the que or ride experience at all? or is it just for photo ops? like does the que take you into the physical Falcon out front they built then into the main show building? if not what is the point of building a real life Falcon if you can't explore it?
Interesting but I'm still not sold on that area being used for the entrance.
If you look at the area to the right of where you have that red arrow there is more of what looks like a real entrance to the building. Which would make sense as that is where you'd have all the switchbacks, and then you'd pass by the window you describe as you go to your pod (or maybe even as you exit the pod). So I'm still leaning as the hanger will be the exit display we pass to re-enter the land.
That is kind of a bummer. it is going to take me out of the attraction if I have to go through a building that takes me to a fake falcon interior. they should have made the physical falcon the show building that way it feels like I actually walked into the falcon that is outside. that is how you immerse someone. they walk into the actual Falcon that was built and it leads you into the ride. does anyone know if you can actually go into the falcon they built???All signs seem to point to the Falcon that we see outside being basically a big beautiful photo op.
The falcon itself if pretty hidden, almost tucked away for a grand reveal. That tower to the left serves as a great and classic wienie. I think that is where you'll have your fast-pass, warnings, and line division for the Falcon ride. We'd curve along that recessed area I've described, and then Fastpass would take a more direct route turning right, while standby continues into the area to the left (as you indicated) for the full line experience.
As for the inevitable switchbacks, "Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey" and "Flight of Passage" have queue features that I feel may come into play in both Galaxy's Edge attractions. Both hit you with an incredibly grand entrance. Both have long and ambitious queues. But within each is a less impressive space packed with switchbacks. In Potter it's the greenhouse. In Passage, it's the mural room. I see areas where both Galaxy's Edge queues could spill out into less impressive areas that could swallow up some of the massive lines expected. I'm sure for quite some time, those lines will spill out well beyond the physical entrance and on into the rest of the park, but there does seem to be a trend of hiding away an area that can be used for high traffic days, but bypassed for less busy times.
