"Where did you learn to shoot a blaster, anyway?!"
"You, alright?! I learned it by watching you!"
Audience gasps in shock.

Star Wars hotel at WDW will be just across the road from Galaxy's Edge. I'm guessing it'll have an entrance directly into the park? Would be odd for a Star Wars land to not have three entrances. I'd dare even say one with only two is too small and thus is inferior.

What's weird though is that its ultimately facing the backside of SWL. That would be like putting a hotel where M&F is. Kinda ruins the immersion if you ask me.

Kylo Ren resonates with parents that have a child like that. Be thankful if your children don't end up that way.

My oldest had a great childhood, raised by two parents that loved him, played sports and had whatever he wanted, yet he turned to the dark side. It was next to impossible to get him to finish his senior year but we did it. People have free agency to choose right from wrong. He decided that basic house hold rules are bad because his "friends" tell him that. Eventually they convince him that everything we taught him is a lie. They take away all power you have when they don't care what the consequences of their actions are. Your child may decide to drop out of high school and won't go to counseling. Pretty soon you got the school district dragging you into court. It would put a huge strain on your married relationship. You pray for the day they turn 18 so you can get some power back.

Therefore you get a failure to launch situation where they do nothing but take and never contribute to the family. The ultimate decision is to part ways where they get nothing but a backpack and you say good luck and lock the door. However there is that fear of never seeing your child again that is heartbreaking. We keep thinking there is good in him so we haven't used that nuclear option yet even though we've had years of being stabbed in the gut with a "lightsaber". If we can get him signed up for classes and in his own apartment that will be a step in the right direction. There is always hope.

I really hope your kids don't end up that way. It's a very real possibility.

Sounds rough, hope it improves soon for your family.

You don't want to take a simulator to get to the the two simulator rides?!!!
My equilibrium hates simulators. I rode Body Wars too much as a kid and I think it broke me. I already know I'm gonna be skipping MF. I'll do BE once just to see how intense it is...but yeah...

Truth be told, I don't really plan to spend that much time in SWL, if at all.

This all sounds very child like, and I hope the kids are saving their allowances because this is likely going to cost a gazillion dollars to stay at. I can't imagine most adults in the world would care enough to shell out the money.
It's all rather ridiculous overkill when it comes right down to it. It's a theme park and a theme park hotel. Guests will still be surrounded by moron tourists in emoji shirts (and probably many toting their "emotional assist" dogs around). At no point is any intelligent adult going to feel like "Wow, I'm not on Earth anymore! I'm totally immersed!!!"

P. T. Barnum lives.

And, seriously, who would want to vacation in the Star Wars universe, let alone live there? It's a terrible Galaxy full of insta-death, slavery, and the most shallow, two-dimensional humans imaginable. The only place worth visiting is Dex's Diner, and it won't even be there. :(

Three out of the way. Excellent...
