At 4pm in the afternoon, not likely. But does it really matter? Why do you want it to bomb so badly?
Tired of them pumping out Star Wars movies making the entire franchise no longer special. Even if I don't end up seeing them I have to deal with the endless promotions on TV or in stores. Sick of it all and want it to stop or at least cool down.

One movie bombing is not going to stop them from pumping the franchise. It would have to be a string of failures, not likely, for it to get them to stop or cool down. They have too much invested in Lucas for that to happen. Its not like this is a one-off unproven concept.

I'm fascinated by our culture now where we root for things to fail. There was a time if we just weren't interested with some things we moved on; now we have to "hate" it. Not sure I understand this hyper-competitive situation we find ourselves in when in most cases we have no stake in the game.

As opposed to all of the periods in history where if we didn't like something or it didn't serve our interests we would just kill it. Yes, I'm talking about genocide.

Especially when we're talking about subjects as unserious as Disneyland, Pixar, and Star Wars.

Even if Solo "flops", which is unlikely, there is no turning the tide on the onslaught of all things SW headed our way in the years and decades to come. Certainly with three permanent SW:GE expansions coming to California, France, and Florida there'll be no escaping it in those locations in our lifetimes.

Exactly, I don't know why anyone would want it to flop first of all. Secondly, why thinking one movie flop will cause a change in course on current Star Wars plans.
