I’m thinking this guy with mickey ears instead of a top hat would be just about perfect.

The bruh with another great idea.

@TROR , you're good at digital design. I was quite impressed with my mickEbruh avatar depicting mickEbruh in the Pirates ride that you came up with. Do us a solid and create that when you get a chance. This is for your club, after all.

Here's what Cars Land looked like in June, 2011, exactly 12 months before its official opening. Mountain rockwork is done and beginning paint, but many buildings in town are barely coming out of the ground with structural steel. Luigi's is there, but Flo's V8 Cafe is ony a few steel beams on the right. This photo is looking from the Blue Sky Cellar right down what would become Route 66.

Compared to a good aerial shot of Disneyland construction for Star Wars from about a month ago, early March, 2018. Rockwork is around the same condition as Cars Land is in the shot above, but the "town" portion of the land seems to be further along. Although there is more buildings and structures in Star Wars Land than Cars Land.

I'm thinking that Star Wars Land will be basically complete and functional a year from now, with a longer than average portion for testing and fine tuning, before a series of media events in May and a grand opening party by June, 2019 at the latest. If not Memorial Day Weekend, 2019.

That's been my expectation with WDW's version then opening in December alongside Episode IX.

Great. Just great. How can I enjoy Star Wars Land now that I know the mountains are not real. Spoiler alert next time please.

WDW pics and whatnot. None of them are aerial, but you can still see how much smaller it's going to be.

I don't see how you can gather that from those pictures. Those pictures show no space around any of the buildings to be able to determine how big the area will be. From what we have seen and what has been discussed, these areas are identical. WDW is obviously missing the third entrance and DL stretches out a bit before the battle escape ride. But nothing as drastic as everyone here is talking. MAYBE a half acre at the most difference.
