California and their wacky laws. So it's legal for women to walk around Disneyland topless now? It's Disneyland, not Rose's stateroom aboard Titanic.
I certainly don't want any of that "Blue Milk" swill. Milk is bad enough when it's white.
OMG, not again....
FYI, if I'm not mistaken its just a milkshake style drink with blue food coloring.
Every other non-MK style park not only serves alcohol and hard liquor throughout (with all kinds of specialty drinks offered at each restaurant/stand), but many even have multiple dedicated lounge/bar areas. Even Animal Kingdom!!! Drunk guests are not an issue, there's really no reason to continue with this tradition at the MK style parks. IMO they should be treated the same as all the others.
While I believe alcohol should be served at DL, drunk guests are an issue. In particular Epcot has a big issue. There have been lots of problems with poor behavior due to intoxication. And of course things like this:
Aunt Beru's Vegetable Smoothie (Star Wars)
Yoda's Dagobah Gruel, Bad-Tasting R2, Luke's Grain Bar, Lando's Cloud City Betrayal Banquet (Empire Strikes Back)
Giant Predatory Toad, Jabba's Boiled Amphibian Slider, Chewie's Endor Raw Animal Meat ("Always thinking with your stomach."), Flame-Broiled Solo, Rancor's Raw Pig-Guard Face Sandwich, Almighty Sarlacc Pit Burrito* (Return of the Jedi)
Jar-Jar's Mos Espa Amphibian On a Rope, Shmi's Veggie and Fruit Platter (The Phantom Menace)
Anakin's Floating Force Fruit, Dexter's Diner, Young Humans Served as Arena Food for Giant Bull/Cat/Praying Mantis (Attack of the Clones)
Anakin's Tears of Regret served with Crispy Sith Bacon Skin (j/k, I don't remember anybody eating anything in Revenge of the Sith)
Unkar Plutt's 1/4 Portion of Insta-Bread-Pretzels Stuffed With Ham and Cheese for $10.00, Pork Shank for $7.50 (The Force Awakens)
Giant Walrus Fresh Boobie Milk, Chewie's Porg-on-a-Stick (The Last Jedi)

Yes it does! That's part of the Disney Magic.Well sure....idiots are always going to be idiots. But, by and large, these are pretty isolated incidents. Plus people are already drinking just feet away in Downtown Disney and DCA. It's not like alcohol instantly disappears from your body the instant you walk thru the DL turnstyles.
We could all learn from Star Trek.I vote for no booze in Disneyland. The last thing I ever want to see in the park is two pathetic drunk bozos screaming their heads off and flashing their hairy man-_oo_s on Dumbo. There are plenty of nearby venues for anyone who can't go a day without alcohol. Keep Disneyland true to its original vision.

Keeping alcohol sales outside the gate sets a psychological boundary for more family-friendly behavior in DL. Don't take that away.Well sure....idiots are always going to be idiots. See above comment about invisible walls. There's absolutely nothing preventing pathetic drunk bozos from walking across from DCA after getting liquored up. All AP holders view both parks essentially as one big one anyways. Not saying to line the streets with cocktails, but I'd love to kick back at Cafe Orleans with something stronger than Mint Julep and unwind with some nice DL scenery.

It's a bit annoying to see characters alive and even dead drinking booze in Pirates of the Caribbean and The Haunted Mansion, while you can't actually drink in the park, even though they have "bars."
I guess my preference for DL and maybe MK would be no hard liquor. I would probably be OK with beer and wine even at fast food locations, but I would really not like roaming with alcohol outside of restaurants at DL. That was a specific part of Walt's vision--no hot black asphalt, trash, and beer. I think maybe that's why I would prefer only beer and wine at table dining and full bar service only in the cantina with no roaming. I like roaming around with a tasty beverage as much as anyone else, but I think I would like to keep at least that part of the tradition alive.
I think it's also a reputational thing. The Disney brand stands for wholesome family entertainment. Most of my families drink (including some of the Baptists--both American and Southern). Back in the '80s Disney balked at producing anything but G-rated movies before creating Touchstone (they edited Treasure Island to (G) for re-release and marketed Never Cry Wolf as (PG) under the Buena Vista name). Then they took heat for buying Miramax (definitely a bad fit). They also deleted the planned casinos on the first two cruise ships.
Clearly, this is not 1955 any more and the parks have evolved from the Proto-Theme/Not-Amusement Park 1.0 to Theme Park 2.0 with the high-capacity world's fair rides and audio animatronics to the advanced Theme Park/Immersive Experience 3.0 we know today.
So I'm not exactly sure where to set the bar. I think beer and wine at table service locations in DL is inevitable. They know to the penny how much money their turning away at Blue Bayou, for instance. And I can't imagine the Cantina at WDW serving fancy galactic mixed drinks and DL not. I just would like to draw the line at roaming with alcohol drinks in Disneyland (even though the entire resort is already fully licensed). YMMV.
