That's what was said by, I think, @marni1971. In at Grand, out in TSL.

Also, there will be a long switchbacking queue in the Grand Ave area that people will have to go through. They're not going to let a mob rush the gate.

And they have the option of using the back stage street, which will be themed, to use either as a queue, making the entrance TSL side, or, as the exit bypassing TSL if that's mobbed still.

What about DL - with 3 portals, which would be entrance and which would be exit?

I circled in red the building I was talking about.

That's the main parade warehouse for Disneyland, and it's easy to see from the street and parking structure. It's been there since the 1970's, I think. Here's a better angle of it directly behind the Falcon ride, where there's a two lane alley between it and the Falcon ride. It appears to be the same distance from the ride building as the new green building is in DHS.

This is from the latest Nearmap images, taken November 2017. Parade warehouse and alley on extreme right of photo.

This photo from January, 1983 shows the parade warehouse in the upper left corner, (to the southwest of the much larger Disneyland warehouse). And I'm also reminded how much I miss that fabulous old Global Van Lines headquarters building that used to sit right along the Santa Ana Freeway just north of Disneyland, where the far less fabulous TDA now sits. :(

I'm sorry, but I'm going off topic now...

"Visitors are welcome"?!?!? How the heck did I not know this back then? Add that to my Disneyland Time Machine list. If I ever get to go back to the 1960's after I get off of Carousel of Progress, I'm walking up Harbor Blvd. to the Global Van Lines headquarters and presenting myself at reception and asking for the visitors experience. Hysterical!

All they need now is a cheap and underwhelming row of vacant San Francisco row houses and a Ghirardelli soda fountain to represent all of Northern California, and the metamorphosis will be complete. Just call it DCA East and be done with it.
Like there is anything else in Northern California.;)

I'd wear one of these items if Disney *gave* it to me as a way to advertise their upcoming expansion. I don't turn myself into a walking billboard for nothin'.

Twenty years ago, my younger self would have gladly paid money to wear advertising for an upcoming Disneyland attraction. Now I'm old and cranky and all I see is Bob Iger laughing all the way to the bank, dancing on the fan's heads...

Gotta admit, though, that hat looks good--(slaps own face).
