I missed everything, but please don't be and post movie spoilers in a construction thread. At least people know not to click on a movie thread at this point (even if it is unlabelled a spoiler thread), but it's completely unfair for them to happen on spoilers here.

On a more positive note I think we're going to have some things to talk about related to SW:GE tonight...

One thing I've been a little unsure of from the model was that SW:GE seemed to lack a certain retail density that is afforded to Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley. I mean, there are buildings, but there aren't that many buildings.

I guess the reason that is - is that this concept art was and is actually representative. It's not just a series of pretty facades, there is depth to each alcove. The covered market will essentially be a series of stores in a Marrakech/Istanbul style.

This being the new "Toy Stall" that those series of hand crafted toys belong to.

>>On a panel during the Star Wars Galactic Nights after-hours, hard-ticket event, Imagineers talked about what's coming in the new Star Wars lands, which will debut in 2019 at Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disneyland in California. Much of the focus was on the Millennium Falcon ride, on which visitors will be able to take control of Han Solo's iconic spaceship.

Disney has recreated the hallway on the ship, as well as the cockpit, which visitors will be able to enter on the ride. The Orange County Register revealed last month that the Falcon ride will feature multiple turntable rooms, each of which will be a Falcon interior, boosting the capacity of the ride over the what would be a very low-throughput attraction with only a single spaceship available to fly for each group of visitors that comes through the ride. Here's the inside of the attraction, now under construction.<<

I actually noticed how much more space there is in front of the Falcon ride at DHS. Of course the river takes up a lot of space, leaving less room for foot traffic. I guess that makes up for the less space to the right of Falcon.

Comparison of DHS to DL from a similar angle. Note the DHS photo is from late November

What that image shows, because it's out of scale and much larger (closer) in the DHS version, is that there is a lot more room in front of the Falcon ride at Disneyland compared to DHS.

I had thought this exact thing based on previous DHS images, but the comparison of more space was much easier to make at Disneyland around the Stormtrooper ride. But these new aerial images of Disneyland, and the out of scale comparison you provided, now shows what I had assumed a few months ago. Disneyland's version has much more space on both sides of the land compared to the more cramped DHS version.

And again I say, no wonder WDI showed off the Disneyland version of this land at D23 Expo last summer. Because it's bigger and more impressive at Disneyland. And much further away from MuppetVision. :D

Now I saw the movie last night and I enjoyed it a lot despite its many flaws, but some people seem to have other feelings on the matter...

Report have been saying that Rotten tomatoes was actually hacked and that a person purposely did something to drop the score drastically within a few hours in retaliation for something
All exit poles and other fan show the movie at a high rating.

Hmm Idk i think there is a bit more space in front of Falcon, not to mention the berm and area behind it leaves room to expand. Either way, both should be fun.
