Rockwork construction is still continuing on Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Today the imagineers visited the site to see how everything was going.

It made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs.
Which is weird because the Kessel Run is documented as 18 parsecs in length. Therefore Han found a shortcut to travel 18 parsecs in only 12. According to Star Wars EU, he did this by cutting really close to a series of black holes thereby cutting 20 light years off his travel time.

I've been in the Park over the last couple of days, and I have to say that the size and scope of these buildings is absolutely huge.
Last time I saw the 'wasteland' out back was in September of last year, and they have definitely made major progress, but as usual photos do not capture the sheer scope and scale of it all.

I might not be a fan of this being built at this location, but I will say the trade off for the newly refreshed and 'plussed' Rivers of America experience make a nice addition.
Really liking the new Big Thunder Trail and railroad excursion sights.
The three clever nods to my favorite 'idea guy' naturally add some appeal to it for me as well.

So, the permit calls it a Fronteirland expansion? Am I missing something? How do Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and Frontierland relate in any way?

This is how all the permits for SWGE are written. They relate in that that they are adjacent and, in fact, SWGE encroaches on land previously part of Frontierland.

Oh my God, the nerd factor in this thread is just a little too high for me. :D
