Ditto. I can't even really imaging my kids liking it much. Immersion shouldn't have to mean you're participating in some hokey skit. I have little to zero interest in something like this. I mean it would be funny seeing a Stormtrooper following my kids around because they were terrible pilots or something like that, but not if we have to stop and interact for any length of time. I envision a lot of awkward blank stares and then quietly walking away from my family. LOL

This was me when I was on my way to buy a churro and the citizens of Buena Vista Street harassed me

You would've hated the Adventurer's Club.
I think it's all about expectations going in. For AC, you kinda knew that was the gimmick. Inside a theme park, it should be more passive...a more play if you want versus being forced into an experience. I've only been approached once on BV street. I think Knott's had taken this more passive route and I'm guessing SW:GE will be very similar. You can enjoy the land as is or take part in this "enhanced" experience if you want.

That, and the ability to get an adult beverage after being hemmed in for hours.

I'm still predicting the Disneyland alcohol hymen gets broken in Star Wars land.

Yeah, I get that.

It's weird, I'm super introverted, but I love stuff like this. Really adds to the atmosphere. The Adventurer's Club was my favorite thing in WDW .

Once again, you will not be forced to participate. There will be some way to opt-in.

I agree. I think they know that turning this into a forced sci-fi renaissance fair would be an awkward disaster. Having the option will be awesome for those that appreciate / crave this sort of thing. For others, it'll hopefully be entertaining or at least amusing to watch (from a safe distance).

Hard to really tell at this point what "progress" they're making. It will get more interesting once rock work begins.

I've kind of lost interest in the construction now that ROA has reopened and our view of the Galaxy's Edge site as been blocked from the parking garage by a large show building. I was hoping we'd get some views into the area from the Mark Twain, but those clever Imagineers made sure that wasn't going to happen. :)

Is that concrete building thing at the beginning the Battle Escape queue building?
I think that's the general consensus. However, the number of doorways on the backside suggests the usual service and mechanical rooms. Somewhere they will have to have CM restrooms and breakroom, as well.

Completely understandable. Unfortunately, we don't have the likes of Bioreconstruct or Blog Mickey in Florida who get regular aerial footage.

RIP Toontown, these sight lines were not designed for you.

I have a strong, strong suspicion Medium term plans will make this area largely inaccessible. A Star Wars ride building expansion plot, an indoor theatre akin to Tokyo's new one, maybe another show building for whatever sits on the Wonderbra. All things that don't need to close or won't be used anyways during fireworks.

Wasn't a Frozen in there at one time?? Frozen 2 will be coming out in the future?

I hope that don't use that expansion pad for more Star Wars. I doubt whatever they fit in that space would be more impressive then either of the Es they re already building. Plus 2 E tickets and 14 acres is more than enough.
