Curious......any idea how much trees that size cost to purchase and install ........per tree? I have always been curious how much Disney pays to plant fully gown trees like this.

Having the river ready for Fantasmic!!--possibly. For guest traffic on the river and the island--less likely. For the DLRR--absolutely not. My rebel spies tell me that RR CMs have been told that testing for the DLRR won't begin until September..

But you'd miss the best themed land in Florida. Diagon Alley is worth the trip to Universal alone.
Which if it is early enough is still technically Summer!

I was hoping it wouldn't come to this. Hans, if you just must travel to Universal, you have to go with a friend and don't speak to anyone there or on the way back!
Off topic, but yes this is the odd year that WDW is earning a trip from me and DLR isn't.
Sort of on topic... I think I'll hold out for this to open.

I thought the same thing. Why are they building up this rotunda/silo out of reinforced concrete? And what's with the columns and (I think) platform in the center. My inner Geek is going crazy!!!

Either that, or a mechanism to move ride vehicles between lower and upper levels.

I'm assuming they are giant exhaust fans. If the service boat and the princess barges are run on combustion engines, there needs to be sufficient ventilation. Also, they will be loading the pyro barges inside now.
