FYI, not the FULL opening date.. That's the land's opening date with Smuggler's Run. Rise of the Resistance opens later with no set date.

Oh dear. We booked a trip earlier this year with this date right smack in the middle and were able to snag free dining, which is a huge savings for our large family. To move the dates would represent a significant cost increase. But I am... hesitant... to say the least about being at WDW on opening day.

This is confusing. Open SW:GE with one ride? During free dining? Granted, it’s a traditionally slower time at the end of August but still... I can’t shake the feeling this is born of some desperation, somewhere.
