Did some quick research.

Tomorrow new foods will include Gamma Cheese Chips (sprinkled with garlic).

The milk stand will feature a Green Milk with some sort of spicy(?) tajin mango feature.

Lastly is a Black Spire Hot Chocolate with a purple butter foam that is swirled with glitter.

So this is what Scott was talking about when they said “this is just the beginning!”

I mean, I’d LOVE a Mandalorian walk around character but I guess reusing the tajin mango drip from schmoozies works too.

Traveling to space can be a chilling experience. Starting on Jan. 17, stop by Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo and Ronto Roasters for a warm cup of Black Spire Hot Chocolate topped with shimmering whipped cream. If the Force guides you to try something cooler, then head to the Milk Stand for Blue Milk and Green Milk. While there, taste the new Toydaria Swirl. Your favorite Green Milk is taking on a new mission with swirls of savory chili lime seasoning and mango jelly—a refreshing alternative.

I'm sure someone, somewhere is trying to put a spin on the idea that SWL has, as a whole, actually been in "soft open" mode since May and TDA was always gonna be OK with that.

But now... TOMORROW... Star Wars Land®©: Galaxies Edge®©: Batuu®© will truly, officially be 100% open for business!

Not the wandering aliens we were promised, but in times of hardships it’s nice to see the bosses stepping up and performing.

The bald alien is scary.

The other one with hair is kinda handsome..

Yes, because we needed more fructose syrup cocktails, $30 t-shirts, and chunks of plastic crap made in Chinese slave factories before we could live our own Star Wars adventure.

They’re aiming for all out madness with headlines and new reports reading “10 hour waits for new Disneyland Star Wars Ride,” in order to create that idea of demand and to get people talking. That alone is way more valuable to them than the many comp. ticket they’ll be distributing.

Well, to be fair to TDA, they have avoided the 10 hour long line visuals with the Boarding Group thing.

Boarding Groups will be a whole other ballgame, and will be a huge shock to AP'ers and casual locals who show up after 9:00am, and will create a new kind of headlines. But there won't be that visual of 5+ hour long lines down Main Street for Indiana Jones, or 180 minute waits posted publicly on the App and wait time boards for Radiator Racers, etc.

Boarding Groups are the new modern way to handle things. And for a wildly expensive new E Ticket that has a pathetic hourly capacity of less than 1,500 per hour like the Resistance ride does, it's a pretty savvy way to handle that mess. It's still a mess, but it's not going to be the disaster it would have been without a Boarding Group strategy.

If anything, it makes me smile to think they created a system that strongly favors the nice tourist families staying across the street at the HoJo's instead of the Instagram AP's who swoop in on Friday nights and Sunday afternoon for a few hours. :)

I just wonder how long they can keep it up before they are forced to transition to a regular Fastpass/Standby queue setup?

I hope you guys enjoyed 30 min waits for MF... now it'll be 2 hours.

Good point. It will be interesting to see how wait times change for the Falcon.

Right now at 3:45pm the Falcon is posted at a 30 minute wait. (Space Mt. is currently 60 minutes, Haunted Mansion is 40 minutes, etc.) We'll have to see what the wait time for Falcon is tomorrow at this time, and through the opening weekend.

But I think it has more to do with Disneyland having 43 other rides outside of Star Wars Land, a dozen of which are major E Tickets, compared to DHS having 6 other rides outside of Star Wars Land.

I would guess at Falcon's line staying exactly the same.

Also I'd think that if you can sneak away from work, a weekday would be a fantastic time to ride RotR, just because of the nature of attendance here.

They're not even allowing people paying $650/hour on VIP tours to ride it, which is insane to me.

Lemme guess, the people paying for a $650/hour VIP tour have to get there by 7am to grab a Boarding Group?

That tells me the rumors about extremely low hourly capacity and regular breakdowns are true.

thought they don't sell merch that says "STAR WARS" in the land due to immersiveness

You know what I find very odd? When people higher up like Iger and Cheapek wear name tags with their names on it like they are normal employees while in the park. Walt never did that. He never wore a stupid name tag, I dont recall Eisner wearing one either. so why do these bafoons do it?? They aren't making 15 bucks a hour. They are not average employees. Its kind of insulting to normal employees struggling to earn a living wage. "See? We are just like you guys? No one is bigger in the company or more important." really a$$hole??
