Not the wandering aliens we were promised, but in times of hardships it’s nice to see the bosses stepping up and performing.
The bald alien is scary.
The other one with hair is kinda handsome..
I hear he's loaded!! <squee>
With these new tasty bites and specialty merchandise offerings, you’ll be ready to officially join the fight for the galaxy. May the Force be with you! All merchandise is subject to availability.
They’re aiming for all out madness with headlines and new reports reading “10 hour waits for new Disneyland Star Wars Ride,” in order to create that idea of demand and to get people talking. That alone is way more valuable to them than the many comp. ticket they’ll be distributing.
I hope you guys enjoyed 30 min waits for MF... now it'll be 2 hours.
I just wonder how long they can keep it up before they are forced to transition to a regular Fastpass/Standby queue setup?
They're not even allowing people paying $650/hour on VIP tours to ride it, which is insane to me.
thought they don't sell merch that says "STAR WARS" in the land due to immersiveness

Discover New Galactic Food and Merchandise in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Park
by Michael Ramirez, Editorial Content Director, Disneyland Resort
Are you ready to join the Resistance and battle the First Order? The time has come! With Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opening tomorrow, Jan. 17, at the Disneyland Resort, now is the time to uncover new specialty bites and unique merchandise offerings in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Here’s what’s coming for those brave enough to take on Supreme Leader Kylo Ren.
Traveling to space can be a chilling experience. Starting on Jan. 17, stop by Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo and Ronto Roasters for a warm cup of Black Spire Hot Chocolate topped with shimmering whipped cream. If the Force guides you to try something cooler, then head to the Milk Stand for Blue Milk and Green Milk. While there, taste the new Toydaria Swirl. Your favorite Green Milk is taking on a new mission with swirls of savory chili lime seasoning and mango jelly—a refreshing alternative.
Lastly, a day spent on Batuu would not be complete without trying the new Galma Garlic Puffed Cheese Chips. Try this intergalactic delight at any of the Jat Kaa’s Coolers located throughout the Black Spire Outpost. And don’t forget, you can skip the line and order in advance with mobile ordering on the Disneyland app.* Mobile ordering is available for Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo, Ronto Roasters and the Milk Stand.
Show that you’re #ResistanceReady with merchandise inspired by Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. The cosmic collection includes tees, a tumbler, a baseball cap and an exclusive trading pin. Any member of the Resistance will notice the iconic starbird symbol proudly displayed on these items.
If you’re inclined to support the First Order with their mission to win the hearts and minds of locals within Batuu, the First Order Short-Range Evacuation Vehicle Play Set is for you. The play set features a First Order transport with its own R5-series astromech droid and can be found at First Order Cargo.

WowYou know what I find very odd? When people higher up like Iger and Cheapek wear name tags with their names on it like they are normal employees while in the park. Walt never did that. He never wore a stupid name tag, I dont recall Eisner wearing one either. so why do these bafoons do it?? They aren't making 15 bucks a hour. They are not average employees. Its kind of insulting to normal employees struggling to earn a living wage. "See? We are just like you guys? No one is bigger in the company or more important." really a$$hole??
I know right? It's so stupid bob wears a name tag that says "bob" on it. i agree with your "wow"
