I have to say. Now that we're so close to the DHS expansion/rejuvenation being completed, it's very underwhelming. I expected as much since Toy Story Land looked lame, Galaxy Edge isn't a must-do at DL (Yet--we'll see how ROTR is if it ever opens) and then you're left with the centerpiece Mickey ride we've seen nothing of which is also coincidentally being dumped in the rear of DL.

It seems to me that it's still not enough. They probably should have put Marvel, Tron and other properties that have been dumped into the other parks in HS. It still isn't a park worth visiting for me. I'm not sure I'll ever go back.

Whatever happened to those Indy rumors? Is the ride going to DHS, AK or nowhere at all? There was Indy boat ride rumor for DHS which would have been great for that park. Their was also a rumor for a Dinosaur retheme to Indy at AK which seemed to be the stronger possibility last time I checked in.

Good question. Last I heard they were keeping the 30 year old Indy stunt show but removing the fake film crew from it or something.

Good GOD.

Maybe Disneyland did get the better version after all.

I am so confused why there is music playing, are there any Imagineers on the site who can explain why there would be Star Wars movie music in there? Also, can they also explain where in any Star Wars canon mythology that light sabers are bought in a store and built from a tray of pieces you choose from in a tray? So confused.

But good news is the immersion in the marketplace is solid so we have crappy "Batuu" wooden toys nobody wants!

Disney could probably make more money if the lightsaber experience wasn't a show. Have it be a shop where people build a saber at their own pace. Don't have to pay for Cast Members and it'd possibly allow more people to go through there.

You mean, wait for it....The Saber Depot?

But then it wouldn't be a shameless, embarrassing, and sad rip-off of Ollivander's.

I'm going to have to admit Disneyland's defeat and say WDW's is better. The simple details of not having blast marks, slightly more color, as well as having a better layout and not being in Disneyland, it's a better guest experience. Obviously it still has a lot of flaws and would also benefit from some retooling in the next couple years, but, man, we got gipped.

This is such a small yet massive difference when discussing the lands.

Math. It’s the same but different. I like the colors of the DHS version but the weathering of the Disneyland version draws me in more. They really did a good job on both.

I’m not that positive. It just depends on what it is. Pixar Pier is a train wreck on all levels and Mission: Bomb Shelter still hurts to talk about. I can’t hate on Galaxy’s Edge because I actually enjoy going there, even in its current unfinished state.
Glad you can enjoy it. I can't find much for myself, unfortunately. Maybe once Oga's no longer requires reservations and I can just walk in, no wait, to see DJ Rex.

Same here. The cantina, if you have the right group and/or are able to score a table with a large party and piloting the Falcon. And tbh I could already feel the novelty of piloting it wearing off on my last trip. That or I was just with a lousy group.

Anyone else find it a bit creepy that it's all dudes building these crappy wands and it's all women screeching out the instructions. Just sayin'. Not sure what that means. Oh, and the pit boss pacing back and forth. Weirdest thing I've seen in a while.

I mean, we all have hobbies and interests. To each his own! But this....? This can't possibly be the experience they thought they were going to get when they paid (up front!) for it.
