Improve what we haven't seen?
I'm as big a skeptic as anyone, and what they have shown us hasn't looked great.
But I've got to be fair - they've shown us very little.
The bridge for instance doesn't look great in the video, but we see one spot - and don't really get a look at how good the graphics are out of the windows, and have no idea of what they are capable of showing us.
We really didn't see the bar area - it's out of focus, and the camera never pans around to show us details.
We have not seen the lounge, dining area or other common areas, and aside from the singer (who was very good, though probably not the most interesting actor to preview) - we haven't seen anything about the other character actors.

True, totally not fair to complain about what has not been seen nor experienced yet. Then there is the issue of when a teaser / trailer / promo is generated it is done to raise interest, anticipation and curiosity, to get the audience to want more (as in pay to see and get more). Thus far the teasing / trailers and promos have done the opposite by putting off the prospective audience with cheapness / bad acting and poor presentation of the glimpses of the facilities. Sad that instead of wanting to see more folks would rather not.

I'm pretty sure they have people come in and clean. If memory serves, that's in a $12 million home.

Remember.. this is Disney.. who famously cut corners by limiting cleaning to once every 4 days unless called in.

Also...yes...the thought of having to keep that clean is enough to give me nightmares. All that plastic probably causes a lot of static and dust.

The problem Disney has is perceived value for the money they are charging. Not just on this Star Wars cosplay hotel thingy either

It's almost amazing how they didn't even use the Rebel Blockade Runner as a main source of inspo for this ship.

The interesting thing is, there are so many great examples by just searching for "start ship interiors"
Instead of crappy screens, they could have added a Genie+ or fastpass with magicband reader with an StarWars skin.

Ok, so if they haven't shown ANY of the good stuff that's WORTH paying that much for....WHY NOT?
Why is 90% of it still concept art? Why not have a lot of actors around that can play the part of what you're expecting to see? Why is Josh D'amaro waving around a lightsaber instead of someone dressed up as a Jedi who seems to have some clue what they're doing, to make us feel like we're living the Jedi experience.
Sure, this could ALL be just a setup for an experience that will blow away all expectations by not actually showing the intense, interesting things that happen. In other words, maybe this is just a way to subvert expectations, but I think if that's the case, they went way too far and that's why we're seeing all of these cancellations

I thought the Drunk 3PO video pointed out that certain photos/video won't be allowed. Apparently, they'll have photopass photographers to document the experience. I'm wondering what they're wanting to hide? Are they simply thinking vistors' impressions will be dulled without evidence to back them up? Are they simply not wanting future passengers to know what to expect -- and possibly cancel? Certainly not something that happens on a cruise ship or a river cruiser.
