Funny you mention HP. The teeny tiny shops in all the areas were a huge mistake IMO. Being in character while being squished by tons of strangers is something I loathed about HP world. Not everything should be done exact. Teeny tiny rooms might be okay to you, but no way I'd want to share that room with another.

I wanted to go on this cruise after I saw how much people were actually cosplaying and how forced all activities were. I get tired of that level after a few hours is all. This really breaks my heart to see it go so bad. Though maybe Disney can learn from this.

That finale was cute but nothing special. That's the issue. For the price tag, it should be amazing. It's cool but not next level.
The irony is that.. we know for experience thanks to the movies and books... That you can "expand" the internal parts of certain places.

Had no clue why Rowling wouldn't want to make the stores look small and cozy from outside, but very large from inside like they had the expansion magic.

Regardless, for my experience. Despite the crowds, the stores were manageable and were enjoyable to see.
Only issue for me was 3 cauldrons, which was packed but moved very fast.

For those complaining that Yoda's in it at the end, did you make the same complaint in the OT when he appeared from the afterlife?
I think SG looks cool but I don't get Yoda's appearance either.

She got a vision in TFA but this felt misplaced. By the time, we get to TROS, she doesn't hear from the Jedi before her. It's the starting and ending arc for her in TROS.

Pretty sure that's a prerecorded message from Yoda on a holocron or something, in other words not the actual Yoda or a force ghost.

So far, the reviews aren't the dumpster fire I was expecting. Seems the consensus is it's fun, but not worth the price, which is really an individual decision. I'm thinking with a lower price point, this can be a big success for Disney.

I found this one interesting...too much story?

The more you lean in and complete digital odd jobs for these characters, the more action you’ll become privy to. When the story works, it’s magic, but when it doesn’t, it’s exhausting. I felt permanently pressed to do more, and the intertwining plotlines are overwritten, particularly for guests who adore but don’t bleed Star Wars — or even those who may want to vacation while on vacation.

These are all people on Disney's invited media list. There was a clear understanding the reviews would not be a "dumpster fire" or your place on the media list goes away. The reviews starting Monday from paid guests and bloggers will be closer to earth (pardon the pun).

On the contrary I am quite happy and vindicated at how crappy the videos make this look.

Fair enough it just doesn't seem a big deal to me. People were complaining initially that there were no known characters in this experience, now they're complaining that there are? My friend built a light saber in Galaxies Edge and said it ended with Yoda talking to everyone from beyond the grave? As this is connected to Galaxies Edge I'd have thought the time to query Yoda's inclusion would have been then?

Are you fairly happy now seeing this with you booking?
I always was. It looks fun. I do read into the fact that to get the full experience you'll have to be fully engaged at all times, which is leading to some potential FOMO. But that's ok. We're all excited.

I'm not a 'big room and hang by the pool' guy anyway so that never bothered me in the slightest. I've been to Disney a million times. Used to live between there and MCO off landstar and 417. This is something new for us all and we can't wait.

I would have loved to experience something like that finale show inside GE, would add so much...especially with real pyro and fireworks..

Maybe in a decade, they will see the value of having a nighttime spectacular inside GE lol..
They could probably do something pretty cool with drones.
