Perhaps could be shared with multiple homes?
A local WIFI with long range transmitters and shared with a group of people.
Certainly costly on the first month because of installation.
Still.. when dial up is the only thing available.. anything is better.

Good question the only issue is how could whether folks wear their masks in their cabins or not, much less while sleeping, be monitored. The entire facility is an enclosed atmosphere filtered and temp controlled (much like an aircraft), but on an aircraft the crew can readily monitor the passengers in their seats. Additionally, there is the issue of mask wearing in the bar / lounge and in the dining room. The Galactic Star Cruiser experience is a unique situation for application of current mitigation protocols.

As of August, 2021, there were over 1600. It's a bit expensive for a beta program (~$800 + $100/mo). But, I really like the idea.

Going to be slow, better than nothing like a sat phone but local cell would be better. I see this as a short term solution, if Elon didn't have space rocket launch thingies I don't think anyone else would pay someone to do all these launches.
