I wonder if Disney would introduce an after hours event in Batuu for which Starcruiser guests receive admission during their stay? It's a perk that's not a perk, the GP assists in offsetting the costs, and it might be more palatable to Disney for Starcruiser guests who want to visit Batuu in SW cosplay to do so during the event.
you need a whole maintenance team for breakdowns, full cast, etc. Doubtful.

For what the guest participants are paying for the experience accommodation needs to be made. A visit to Batuu was already projected as a part of the experience, along w realistic light saber training and the long promised in character dining. It will be interesting to see.

I haven't been keeping up with this project, so forgive the dumb question. Are they leaving the "show" building looking like a warehouse, or are they actually going to put up some fascia to make the outside look like a starship like the concept art? Or are they just theming the front where you check in?

I will remain like that since guests will never see it.

That figures
Guests are supposed to view their entry as merely a check in terminal.
Like an airport terminal.
The Starship itself isn't supposed to be on earth, you're supposed to be shuttled up to meet it.
So there isn't much to that aspect that they are meant to see.
They bus or drive up to a terminal check in.
There they will be processed and board some type of simulator that will "take" them to the Starcruiser.

Yes.. But... If they really wanted to blend it in with the rest of its land, well, some theming, would be nice.

From documents posted a few days ago, a company called "Dimensional Innovations, Inc." will be tasked with "Showset Installation for project H" - "project H" refers to "Halcyon", the name of the Starcruiser.

I wanted to get into what this company does and show some of their work to see what is possible for this new experience for Galaxy's
Edge (Batuu East).

According to their website -> "For more than two decades, we’ve collaborated with our clients to challenge what’s possible at the intersection of physical space, technology and brand storytelling to create cohesive, purpose-driven experiences."

Examples of their work include:

Helzberg Diamonds - (image 1) Using augmented reality (AR) technology, The Helzberg Virtual Ring Experience invites guests to virtually “try on” over 100 ring styles in multiple viewing angles by placing their left hand on a custom designed palm rest with motion-tracking sensors. - In the picture, the girl puts her hand under the sensor and on the screen she sees her hand with the diamond on her finger. (MAYBE this can be used for the Sabacc card games where you hold virtual cards in your hands.)

.
Camp Cinemark - (Image 2) The real attraction is an entire wall dedicated to an interactive, digital coloring screen. Beginning as a black and white outline, kids can color in the illustration with just the wave of their hands. Gesture-tracking technology allows for multiple users to "color" at the same time, bringing the scene to life.

.
Alamo Draft house Death Star - (image 3) The experience begins as guests approach the entrance with sixteen-foot-tall, LED-lit lightsabers and continues throughout the common areas. From a space station-inspired concession stand to Imperial-style light panels and directory signage throughout the silver, black & gray corridors.

Yes, I don't believe that the person who made the post realizes that people are only going to see the drop off entry, and that is all they are meant to see.
If it weren't for easy access to Galaxy's Edge from this building - they could have placed it anywhere.
they told them, they just ignored it. People do not realize you will not see ANYTHING other then the drop-off entrance from the outside. Even when you tell them they still refuse to hear it.
