Based on aerial photos and permits being filed it seems to still be in progress.

Mmmm, I would give my first or last born to know the scope of that work. I have to think this will be electronidense to the max.

Yeah, I imagine this will have a pretty extensive A/V system. This is not a contractor that Disney normally works with, but they have an impressive resume and have done a few projects for Disney including Carnival de Lumière at EPCOT, projection system for The Living Seas, and also did the park wide audio system and parade control systems for Disneyland Paris.
Pretty cool brochure about the companies first 50 years...

I would imagine that the hotel's guest will be separate from the boarding group depending on how big and when the excursions to GE are.

Guests of the Starcruiser will be ushered in via golf cart through the backstage area (by the Cast Member designated smoking area near the garbage dumpsters) for their own private Boarding Group at 5:15AM.

The drawings we have seen for the shuttle have a very small number of seats so it doesn't look like they expect the guests to go to GE in mass.
Will it at least be a Galactic golf cart?
The resort will open way after a generally distributed vaccine.
They can always say they're taking a tour of the lower levels of Coruscant on the way to Batuu!

Yes I would imagine the plan is to be in a position to open when COVID is no longer a red light to close-up entertainment, whenever that might be.

Huh. I thought it would be on the near side of the street. Makes more sense the way they're doing it, though.
I know there will be trees on either side of the valet entrance, to cover the font side.
Speaking of which, were is guest parking?
