My youngest is 16+ so they will still play along... but not if its aimed at 7yr olds. I would do it as adults.. like we would be happy to do cruises and play with the stuff they have on the boat... but again, not when its aimed at 7yr olds. You can make entertainment that caters to both young and old.. I mean, it's what Disney is known best for. But this art and presentation really has me worried. The first presentation I saw did not have me concerned one bit about being adults w/o kids necessarily. This.. has me worried.

I also believe that no matter how Disney designed the experience - more appealing to a younger set or an older set - the reality of the guests checking in would be heavy on the little kid population.

I think a lot of those people you see that look like equity performers are just adults in cosplay as that will be part of the experience. And this is a "cruise ship" type experience so think "cruise ship" type room which means small and cramped. Hopefully they plan activities like a "cruise ship" that can keep you busy all day and in your room as little as possible.

So a guy in a Wooki suit is going to be cos-playing.. Man I sure can't wait for legal to get involved in trademark and etc.
Not to mention who touches who issues.

Jesus that concept art. No way in hell it's going to come out like that. I counted over 10 equity performers in one image, more of them than guests it would seem. Not going to happen. Also, anyone else think the room renders show rooms that are just way way.. to small to put a family in?

I've said that it's a luxury price to spend for a room (and a location) that's largely hard plastic and fiberglass.
A cruise is at least under the pretense of luxury and pampering.

I wouldn't think the Wookie suit would be cosplay. I'm sure that's an expensive costume and they don't want guests ruining that. But I'm guessing a lot of those in "Han Solo" type getups and general "Star Wars" wear are the cosplayers.

Doesn’t look like a lot of space cleared for on-site parking. I know it’s not that many rooms, but still... Maybe the plan is cast & overflow parking over the bridge with Studios cast parking?

There's only parking for buses and a few handicapped accessible vehicles. So, it's likely one will have to take a Disney transport to the "space port dock". Maybe from cast parking or some other designated pick-up hub on WDW property.

Perhaps exclusively valet parking?

That's what I was thinking. You arrive at the entrance and then valet parks your car across the bridge.

Of course I can hear the complaints already. "What if you need something from your car?" "This isn't how a hotel should operate!!" "Is there AC???" "Why isn't Han personally meeting me in the lobby? My childhood!!!!!!!"

I think this is another great way to start your immersion. Not worrying about parking and all that.

I'd have no issue with valet unless it is mandatory and at the same of higher cost as other hotels. Course for the pricing I've heard for the stay, don't know how many ppl would care about another $66.
