They will need it to stay where it is for a couple of years to absorb some of the overflow from people who are waiting for SWL fastpasses etc.
SWL phase 2 is doubtless already pencilled in once the current land has proven it sells park tickets, merchandise and hotel rooms.
That will generate a 2nd wind of demand, and be when Star Tours is relocated with the Studios IMHO.

In all seriousness, since it's "Star Tours", who says the attraction has to be inside SWL, whether DL or DHS, since SWL is based on a specific planet? It's an attraction where you board a tour vehicle after all.

I have no issue at all with having it in both places. Just said I had heard that rumor, which I thought was ridiculous. If you add 2 Star Wars attractions and subtract 1 from the park, what are you going to do with the countless new bodies in the park because they are big Star Wars fans?
