Over at BlueSky Disney, the following was posted on Saturday 8/29 that I don't think anyone has mentioned or talked about. Specifically, it talks about the D23 convention and the exciting news to be announced: "But I will be there the last two days. Any Disney fan will love it, I believe, especially Saturday. Particularly Disneyland fans. Specifically Star Tour(s) fans. And who knows, maybe even a few Star Wars fans, perhaps? What's that? I have know idea what you're talking about. You didn't hear what you thought you heard. These aren't the droids you're looking for. They're for sale if you'd like to buy them? Hehe..."

What to make of it?

I really hope they use that technology utilized in that storm show at inventions. interaction combined with an unpredictable adventure would be wonderful. I really like the ride, but it doesn't have much re-ride-ability. This could be easily fixed with today's software/digital video abilities.

No more laser discs. :)

I would guess that they are going to start doing Star Wars Weekends in Disneyland.

During the SW presentation at Comic Con they said something like 'We don't have a date and location for Star Wars Celebration V but we know everyone wants it in their home town like Anaheim or Orlando but we can't make any official announcement yet.' After that I thought, would they actually do two Celebrations and was that a hint that they would be at the Disney Parks? That would be pretty cool if they did! I'm not saying they are or anything but it could be implied from what they said. Who know at this point?

SWW at Disneyland would be a good idea, but it is nice to keep it at one park to draw all of us Star Wars fans there.

Steve also mentioned Boston and Chicago at SDCC, so it just doesn't narrow down to cities with Disney parks. As I have said before, I for one hope that it isn't at Disney. I'm a big Star Wars fan, and I have been to two out of the past four Star Wars Celebrations that were held in the U.S. Having C5 at one of the Disney parks would be too much... I know that LA was expensive, and if they would have it in Orlando, then that too would be a little more money than one would like to shell out.

Just my $.02
