Star Tours 2: Now Filming?

It's about d*mn time. I mean I love Star Wars. But when I went to Disney Land twice in the past four years I was surprised to see both times Star Tours was the EXACT same ride when my parents took me as a kid like at least 15 years ago if not longer. If anything change surprised to the word disappointed. Especially considering Star Wars just isn't what it is to kids today as it was to kids back in the 80s and early 90s. So I'm glad there's an update coming...and Boba Fett is my favorite Star Wars Character so hell yeah.

I wish it was an actual journey ride thing,like peterpan but star wars,,and fast! The queing up is the best part!

And not that it signals that anything is about to happen in terms of an updated attraction, but among the paperwork filed with the county yesterday was fall-arrester systems above the simulators at Star Tours... Hmmm...

I can tell you for sure that WDW, Disneyland and Tokyo will be getting this upgrade. The upgrade does include more than just new media content.Most of the people here will approve of the new Star Tours.

But will it appease the REAL fans? If its just gonna be a charecter fest with abunch of yippeessee and mesa in big doodoo this time. The Star Wars faithful will be furious.

Awesome news if true. :sohappy: (I sort of feel bad if DLP doesn't get it as well, oh well.) I'm very excited about this upgrade and I'd still bet on Star Wars Weekends for an announcement. I'd be perfect timing!

I thought I was the only one. Star Tours and the Simpsons ride are the only two things at any of the parks I for some reason get sick kinda on. Not super sick I just feel weird like im about to throw up but I dont. Glad to know some one else gets this way too so I am not alone in this. Heres my Simulator Ride face :zipit:
