I don't know if the dwarf mine is coming or not, but, why would it have to be a mountain???? I thought the mine the dwarfs worked in was in a cave inside a small rock formation, not necessarily a mountain.... On BTMR, sure, you start inside the mountain, but the rest of the train ride takes place around the mountain.. Wouldn't the dwarf mine coaster be INSIDE the rock formation??? If not, then it makes very little sense since, well, you mine INSIDE a cave or some sort of hole, you don't mind on the outside of the rock formation... I see two different rides, nothing similar at all..

also, maybe it isn't a dwarf mine coaster at all.. why couldn't it be themed to the dwarves' mine, but you actually sit in an EMV themed to a mine cart (think time rover in Dinosaur)... There can be show scenes with Dwarf animatronics doing some mining, falling rock, and a storyline that deal nothing with Snow White... How about ending the ride escaping from some deep cavern monster, in AA form (one that works unlike Yeti LOL)...

juan says unique, isn't that unique, despite the technology???

  1. I assume this attraction was not in the original plans. Correct?
  2. Is this original attraction based on a franchise that is only represented in the original plans for FLE or is it based on a franchise that is already represented anywhere in MK?
  3. When you say "not a clone", does that mean it is completely original or is it a modified version of an attraction in some other park?
  4. Is this mystery attraction for FLE West or FLE East?

I was thinking Casey Junior but now I'm not at all. I wish though.

The only thing I can think of is Snow White Mine Coaster OR a random ground ride based off another Disney movie.

They should have considered Roger Rabbit too. :/

Yup, it is. Only WDAS and live action films like Roger Rabbit and of course Mary Poppins.

It does sound pretty unique to me, even if it still has some similarities to BTMRR.

And an emv would look dumb imo. An EMV is huuuuuge. Mine carts are compact.

If it were to come to life, I'd think it'd be in resemblance to a TTA ride vehicle and BTMRR coaster vehicle. You face another couple and hold onto the mine lever. You know?

But where are the BTMR similarities??? One takes place inside a cave/mine.. the other outside a mountain in a frontier city... If, say, an EMV is used instead of a mine car on a track coaster, there are no similarities at all...

Whose to say WDI cannot create a smaller EMV??

It would probably be very expensive. And there wouldn't be too much range in motion. Plus the "magic" would be lost because it's not like you can really hide it under a mine car. Plus mine cars are always on tracks.

If you can dream it, you can do it...

1) I did speculate
2) WDI can do anything if allowed to, and I believe they could make it work..
3) Tracks??? Ok so, why can't there be tracks on the floor making it look like your car is actually traveling on them???
4) Forget the EMV and use the TTA cars... Still isn't a roller coaster.. Can be a nice dark ride-like attraction adding a big of thrill...

Why does it have to be a coaster???

I have to admitt, my gut feeling for awhile now has been: We are not getting an alice ride,,,and snow white is on her way out. Which I guess would be okay IF its replaced with another dark ride, so help me if they replace that with a meetngreet:cry:...........at the same time though its been there since the park opened, and coming up on the 40th it kinda bothers me if they take it out. just sayin.

What was it Raven said??? A M&G was going to replace something that was going to close, which would be controversial for not just people on the web but also regualr WDW guests?? SWSA closing for a princess M&G (outside of the ride of course) would be controversial.. And when the one priness chateau is constructed allowing for the princess meet and greet in the forest, them SWSA can become soemthing else, like.. probably, a store.. :lookaroun

joking about the store thing... but it could be changed into another dark ride..

There's no story if there's no roller coaster. The more and more I think about it, the more I doubt it would be coming.

I hope they don't evict SWSA. It may not be the original, but it's a classic. DL recently added new effects to their ride and it looks amazing.

Has Juan denied Casey Jr? It would probably be a clone of DLP's....

juan said no clones... That eliminates Casey Jr clone from DLP... Lee already said Casey Jr is going to be a food cart in Dumbo's Circus area...

As for the mine, there can be a story.. Why can't Imagineering come up with a story??? Are they that devoid of imagination anymore that every story to every attraction has to be movie tied in??? Aren't people screaming for an original story?? Here is a chance... There is a story... Dwarves go into the mine... The go deeper that they usually do and they lose control of the mine carts (there is your mine coaster).. or they go deeper into the cave and run into a dragon or some sort of cave dweller, and there is your dark ride-like/thrill without the coaster/possible EMV or other kind of ride technology... Here is a chance to open something that EVERYONE can ride and have fun doing so...
