The FLE is not about you. Lasseter explained its scope and purpose. A big thrill ride or intense dark ride is likely completely out of the question. I think you are well aware of that too.

What I interpreted was that the FLE was only a little bit of info that he found out, as in, there's more besides the FLE.

Posters like Juan and grizz are trying to set everyone up so there is an uproar when the slight changes are announced. Staggs did not come close to saying there were major changes happening. Because they aren't.
