Hats were there when we arrived April 16th; and I can confirm they were gone as of last night. :shrug:

Why have things kept changing in POTC? Every time I ride it, something is either different or not working. Pirates are getting different costumes, the hat pirate is missing or has suddenly gained his hats, one of the pirates has dropped trou....

Well you can't just expect them to stand there all day do you. The guy with the hat has to sell his wares to new markets or his family will rust and if they didn't change their clothes then they'd start to smell of motor oil.

Does anyone know what, techically speaking, is so difficult about these stacked hats?
It just all seems so odd to me... The only thing I can think is some sort of balance issue... But how in the heck could that be the problem when he's literally been standing there for decades dealing with those hats?

There is metal rod attached to the pirate's head running up through the hats. It snapped, the back up head had no rod, took them all those months to make a new one.
Why, just weeks later, he's back to one hat, I do not know. Hoping it's not because the new head broke as well, but I have no other theory.

Surely there is glue available if needed.
By balance, I'm referring to the AA itself... Not the idea that one of the stacked hats might fall.
