This guy has no clue.
SSE is a better attraction since the refurb.
Tray again in some other thread.
I would not worry about it. No matter what happens in a refurb someone will have an issue with it. There was a member of this forum that seemed ready to slit his/her own wrists over the spider scene being replaced with the stair scene in the HM refurb. Go and form your own opinion. Don't let someone else tell you what you should like or dislike.

Whatever you may think, don`t treat someone elses opinion as wrong just because you don`t agree. And to say he has no clue... what`s to say you do?

What do you mean, exactly? That there would be a protest with signs, etc.?? I highly doubt that anyone at the park that morning would have been "booing" during the ceremony. I for one was a resort guest that day and would have loved to have been there, had I know about it. I may not agree with all Disney decisions that are made with regard to Epcot, but I would certainly have been more than happy to be there for the redication of SSE.

His opinion is wrong.
This issue is black and white cut and dry.
SSE IS a better attraction since the refurb. There is simply no two ways about it. If you dont like it then thats fine but the refurb DID improve the attraction (not that it needed it) that much.
Anyways, yes..He had no clue.

Besides, the new SSE has some positives, and dare my opinion be, lots of new negatives.
Don't continue this argument here, there are so many other threads about it already you can go to. (and tell others their opinions are wrong)
Can you please ease up on the attitude and insults. This is a DISCUSSION forum, all opinions and ideas are welcome. There is no such thing as black and white when we are talking about OPINIONS, and you are stating your opinion as fact.

SSE is better now. The refurb was a GREAT success.

I did no wrong. I stand by my FACTUAL comments. SSE is a great attraction and is even better after the refurb.

Oh, and please stop with the butt kissing. Its nausiating.
I`m curious, as an onlooker - define factual, and what facts do you have to back up your opinion?

No butt-kissing, but I'm not going to just stand by and let him be gainsayed when he happens to be correct.
When something is said to be better or worse, that is opinion. You can say Spaceship Earth is better due to things like the improved Audio-animatronics, and most people will agree with you, but there also might be people out there who enjoy the jerkier motions of the older versions better. Opinions. As it so happens with Spaceship Earth, there is a notable amount of people out there who are unsatisfied with the refurbishment overall. On that basis, without resounding unanimous approval (which you could argue The Haunted Mansion might have, for example), Spaceship Earth is not better. It's a matter of opinion.
A final couple of examples:
To say that the ending went through a major show change is a fact.
To say that the ending is better than it was before is an opinion.
I hope this is more clear than my previous statement.
