I'm pretty much a four year old at Disney, period.I love the Electric Water Pageant. Every time I hear that music I'm 4 years old again.

In my opinion, the only beverage that should leave froth in your glass is either root beer or a milkshake.
There will be pics, I promise.
Right now, we're just sitting out on the boat dock listening to the crickets, and soaking up the Disney vibe.
We actually got into Trader Sam's, but there were no two seats together. Four or five singles scattered, but not a single pair. No biggie, I just wanted to say I've been in there. Yowza, it's tiny.

And now for the reason we all come here ....

My little plate - about 1/3 of it actually.
I ate every single bite. I feel sick, but it was worth it!

Would you get all confused up, if you came to North Carolina and saw a Publix? Nothing about this place resembles Florida, we don't have a single palm tree to be found.Nothing says Florida to me like a Publix.
I can't speak for @Lucky, but I guess we'll see how I feel about it when I get there on Thursday.Would you get all confused up, if you came to North Carolina and saw a Publix? Nothing about this place resembles Florida, we don't have a single palm tree to be found.
No Winn Dixie and no Wegmans that I have ever seen. Not that many Publix either, they are just starting to come into the area. Winn Dixie and Piggly Wiggly I have seen in South Carolina. But, those folks in So. Carolina are our poor, uneducated, cousins that we never mention in sophisticated company.I can't speak for @Lucky, but I guess we'll see how I feel about it when I get there on Thursday.
Publix is head and shoulders above Winn Dixie, but still doesn't hold a candle to Wegman's.
Yeah, but they beat Duke, so Hubby loves them!No Winn Dixie and no Wegmans that I have ever seen. Not that many Publix either, they are just starting to come into the area. Stick with Market Basket!Never been to either of the first two mentioned (guess those are all down South--none up here).
We had a Wegmans open up here a couple of years ago, and I despise the place. First, they had a 2-level parking garage (um . . . no, I don't want to park in a stupid garage just to get groceries and wheel them up to a 2nd level). Then, inside the store are a few confusing floor layouts--place was a nightmare. I also checked prices and they are "supposed" to be known for lower prices--nuh uh . . . more expensive than the other 3 supermarket chains in my area.
Hard to tell around here with all the whining that is going on. How our, stupid, bathroom law prevented them from being at home, gave SC an unfair advantage and blah, blah, blah. Not one single mention of how they might have tried playing a little better.Yeah, but they beat Duke, so Hubby loves them!
Have a good night. I am off to bed. Have to get up early to pack up this room.
We don't have any here but I've shopped at Publix many times when we visited relatives in Florida. The one near my cousin in Tampa has awesome pies.Don't have any of these stores...
We don't either at home. Ontario is dominated by the Loblaws chain and the A&P chain, and their respective subsidiaries.Don't have any of these stores...
People from Ontario, especially those close to the border, make trips into Buffalo specifically to go to Wegman's. Even with exchange, their prices are very good. And bonus, grocery items do not count as part of your duty exemption.Never been to either of the first two mentioned (guess those are all down South--none up here).
